Credit cards are designed to suit different people using them for different purposes. Whether you want a balance transfer credit card to move existing debt to take advantage of 0% introductory periods or a rewards credit card that allows you to benefit from various rewards in return for using your card, there's something for everyone.

Check out one of the comparison sites for more information and a choice of cards. I recommend

I have been real happy with my U,S. Bank FlexPerks card.  You have the option of earning rewards such as cash back, travel, or merchandise.  I love the travel with no black out dates!!  See my hub:

It all depends on your lifestyle. What you expect from a card decides which card you really need.

It depends on what you need and what your specific situation is.  There are many types of cards, from secured, to unsecured, to pre-pay to merchant...
There are also cards that cater to people with bad credit.
Just understand your specific situation and your needs... and DO SOME RESEARCH!
I did a review of one that I got last Christmas: … rue-Review
