lesson on my voice activated tape recorder and I ran out of batteries. I quickly grabed the house phone, and called my cell phone number. When it was time to leave a message, I recorded the lesson I was studying on my cell. It took a few calls to record the whole lesson, but it was worth it. Every penny saved is a penny earned.
I, myself, have never done that. I have heard of people recording company meetings by using their cell phones to dial their home phones and letting the answering machine record the meeting.
