Would you try to change your mortgage company if the customer service was awful?
As long as my payments posted on time, I would likely wait it out. Changing companies requires so much work, including finding a lower rate, loan apps., an expensive appraisal, points, and a title search regardless of long it has been since the previous trust deed was filed.
In other words--what a hassle! Maybe you can pay online and avoid the customer service people.
You might not have a choice to change companies. The only way to change companies is to do a refinance. If your credit has gone down significantly since the time you took out the original mortgage you might not be able to get another company to refinance your original mortgage.
