WHY do you want to be a millionaire?
Plenty of people never think that far ahead. They have no REAL reason to
get the amount of money they think they want (e.g., millions). They just heard it
somewhere, thought it sounded like a good number, and decided that’s what
they wanted too.
For example, some people say things like, “I want to be a millionaire.” That’s all
fine and good. But money is just a piece of paper. What’s important is what you
do with that money. So the real question becomes, WHY do you want to be a
I worry a lot about my husband's and my future as older people. Will we have enough to pay the bills, and get proper medical care and what if one of us becomes ill and needs a nursing home?
A million dollars would not change my lifestyle, but it would insure that I could purchase good medical insurance and have our family taken care of instead of burdening someone else. That would give me great piece of mind.
Yes many of us really do want because we are looking forward to what to spend in the future and current needs.
I never want to work again, if I won a million dollars I would pay everything off and then live on the interest on the principle balance in the bank like people used to do when they had inherited wealth, I wouldn't live beyond my means or be extravagant with the money. I just don't want to work.
i don't yet. i will be in about 8 to 10 years but it isn't a big part of my life. when i decide i have enough money, i plan on opening a non-profit housing company for people i feel need or deserve a break in life.
I want to be a multi-millionaire. This will give me Freedom - to do what I want, when I want. It will mean the end of working for unreasonable and ungrateful people. I will also be able to help my children and others to live better. There is nothing noble in living a life of struggle and want.
I have written a hub about the goodness of money. You may want to check it out. http://hubpages.com/hub/Money-Is-Good-And-Very-Good
I want to pay off my bills, not worry about retirement or health insurance. I started working when I was a young boy, raised on a farm, and just want to quit now. I enjoyed working, providing for my family, now I wish to be able to help my kids and grandkids, my friends.
I don't need a big house or a exspensive watch, Just want to help others with their needs.
i think there is peace of mind associated with having a nest egg.. whats what the reason would be for me anyway
