What is the most effective and reliable way to make $2,000 a month working from home?

I love to write and I love my daughter. Spending 40+ hours a week away from her while I pay someone else to raise her is hurting my heart. Any suggestions on how I can make a living from home?

Telecommute from home from a dayjob that pays $2000 per month.  It's going to take more than 40 hours per week for a significant amount of time (a year or two) to build up a freelance writing biz to pay that much consistently.

You have very good intention. Allow me to wait for good responses from other hubbers. I'll learn from them as well.

Else, I guess from what I have read earlier on the net, the best way is to earn residual income from different works/ jobs like writing, blogging, selling stuffs online, adsense etc than to look for only one source. Also depending on from which country you are, you may have online jobs. But personally I don't have much detail. Hope our hubbers friends give good suggestions.

    All the best
