What is the legal basis States "Use" Taxes to collect sales taxes?
Most States have laws providing for a "Use" tax, a tax to collect money for purchases made on the Internet or when travelling outside the State or by catalogue. What is the legal basis States use to enforce such laws?
Legal pretext - none. Sales tax just keeps the poverty limit constant. Taxing the poor is far more profitable than taxing the rich. If people do not like high sales tax move to North Dakota they actually flaunt it to populate the state.
