What is the future of social security?
The future of the U S Social Security system.
The future of Social Security is in the hands of Congress. That should answer your question, because they can't seem to discuss anything important, much less handle anything to a decent conclusion. Straight party line voters will keep them on the payroll and the withering Social Security will die a slow death for lack of meaningful action. It has been so long since Congress acted on meaningful issues, that I think it has forgotten how. So say 90% of Americans!
Oh, they'll slowly convert it into a straight income tax and use it to build more weapons.
