What is your ideal retiring age?
my friend who works as a financial adviser asked me this question and I realized I never really thought about it. now it got me curious, about what other people's plans are. retiring at a young age? or enjoy working until they can and their government would allow?
We think about it all the time. The goal is for my husband to retire at age 50. People work for far too many years. There are far too many ways for people to retire young. People should be able to enjoy a time in life to relax and enjoy what they worked so hard for.
My husband is going to be retiring from the Army next year. He'll be 51. We plan on him working part time after that so we don't drive each other crazy!
I don't know when I'll officially retire but I'm only 40 right now. I write for a living and since I love it so much I really don't see it as work. I see it more like a hobby that pays me. Maybe I'm already retired and I just don't realize it?
28. I'm 27 now Actually, I don't think I ever would retire, I'd be afraid I'd get too bored. I'm one of those people who really needs a job for something to do.
