How much should I charge to write someone an article?
I have recently started writing people articles and charging them around $5 per 500 words. How much do you think that I should be charging for this service, and should I continue doing it?
That's the average rate. You can increase it once you gain experience and proven yourself to be a reliable writer. Good luck!
Good advice Thanks. I have heard that there are some people who actually charge $50 per article, and this blew my mind wide open. However, to be fair those articles are written for professional companies, and usually take a long time to complete.
$5 per 500 words is fair. If your articles are very good quality (well documented, well written, unique and original) you can go up to $10 or even $15 per article.
That's the average and completely okay.
I propose you add to $10 in a few months then add to at least $25 which is the standard for pros.

This was written on the hub of a writer recently: "I'm in touch with my feelings – maybe a tad too much, seeing as I can write on command about them".Sort of implies that this is not a good thing....Why would this be bad? I really don't think there's any such thing as being in...
