What are pre-authorized transactions shown in the Credit Card statement?
I have some pre-authorized transactions in my credit card statement. I could not buy anything but the charges has been occurred. How am I supposed to get back the money?
Usually this is done to guarantee the payment to a company before the money transfer officially takes place. Lots of hotels do it, where they pre-authorise the payment, then if you don't pay at check-out they can still get the money. It happens a lot with online transactions, especially through Worldpay or Streamline.
