Do you use less coupons now than you have in the past.

I have noticed that I have been using less coupons when grocery shopping.  The coupons I receive from the grocery store and the ones I clip on-line or from ads and flyers have been for products I do not use.  The flip side to coupons being for products I do not use are coupons for savings if I buy multiple numbers of a specific product or products from a manufacturers line of products.  These type of coupons don't save me money if I have to spend more to save or if I buy products I don't need or normally use.  Is there anyone else out who feels the same way?

I feel the same way that you do.  Before moving to New England six years ago, I used coupons almost every time I went to the store.  Now, however, one big difference is that I don't get the newspaper any longer since moving here.  Before, I would find tons of coupons... now, like you, there are more coupons for things I've never thought of buying.  I also don't receive as many store ads since moving from a suburban to a very rural area.  I find that the only time I really use coupons any more is if they are in the store and the product is already on my list.
