Who wants to be a Millionaire?

Ok, we all do - do we?  Think about the disadvantages too.  What would you do with the money?  Would it make you happier?

I agree with this quote from good ol' anon.
"Money can't buy you happiness, but at least you can be miserable in comfort."

Yes!  It certainly makes a difference.  Sadly, though, there are many who seem to think it's the answer to everything.  Thanks for answering.

I do, I do!! (raises hand)

...but a million bucks doesn't go as far as it used to, so it's not like my wife and I would be able to quit our jobs and live happily ever after. However, it would certainly be enough to pay off our debts, etc. and not have to worry about money as much, which would be nice.

That's true but a savings accounts could accrue a little bit I guess.  Thanks for taking the time to comment; much appreciated.

Honestly, Ann, I would be happy with about $500 extra per month. If I did become a millionaire, my dream of building a writer's studio and workshop would become a dream that much sooner....and right next to that would be Bev's playhouse and drama studio for kids. smile

Sounds good to me.  I think I'd use it to do all sorts of things for me and mine.  Good to see you, bill.  Thanks for answering.

Yes, and no. It wouldn't last very long. It would be more like a quick break. The savings account is a good idea. But you wouldn't bring in that much fast. It would take a lot more to rake in some actual dough. It would be fun, and set my family up for a little bit. At the same time no because it really wouldn't last long. Kind of like getting my income taxes. Bil,s played all off. There goes half of it. Maybe a get a newer vehicle, try to get into a nice house. That's about it. Before you know it, back to the beginning. In most cases, where I would actually get a million dollars. Taxes come in. Therefore, I wouldn't even get the whole amount.

No, it probably wouldn't last long but you could do some good in the meantime.  Thank you for answering and voicing your ideas.  Much appreciated.

    Hi Anne
First let me say your sketch of the girl by the water, I love it.

Second I am using an old cell so therefore I could not find where fan mail was
I enjoyed your writing challenges, they are great.
Anyway to answer this yes I want a million, why you ask well we should always expect the best. I am the type of person, if I am going to have money I want lots to share and spare. Lot of charities I would help and even people on here.

Although money can't make you happy, but if used properly it sure can't hurt.

I also believe that yes the wrong people have money but I also believe it can be taken from you ad fast ad you received it and it will. It always comes back to you so if used for wrong reasons you only step in your own pit.
It's a gift from the Good Lord.
I could go into a story about money but I won't bore you lol
Not me but someone from way in my past.
    Anyway many blessings
    Laurie
