Food and Water these are the basic and the most essential resource in order to survive. with this two things we get the energy to work. Also water is used to grow foods like crops and livestock witch also brings business and income.

If there could be a famine and drought we might die from starvation.

You also need (AIR) to breathe! Without it most of us would be dead within a couple of minutes. smile

I suggest one requires at minimum of 4 things; although, biologically we indeed require FOOD and WATER without adding Earth's AIR (a combination of primarily nitrogen - 21% and oxygen - 78%) we would expire. I suggest a 4th ingredient (if you will); perhaps just as important, that being HOPE (keep in mind, it is not more important). If one indeed loses HOPE he/she can "will" their self to death.

    1. Air 2.Water 3.Food 4.Shelter 5. Clothing (a preference)
Those are pretty much the only things that man "can't live without"
Everything else falls under the "would be nice to have" categories.

Food and shelter but most of all our belief in the Creator of all things. God had given us life and everything and my faith in God is one thing I can't live without. I will be nothing without Him.

Linda you can live a lot longer without food and shelter than you can without (Air). :-)
