HubMob of Personal Finance Parenting Advice

Updated on September 6, 2009

Personal Finance and Parenting

Money and kids go together. You need one to support the other and you need to teach one about the other, too. It can be tough sometimes. That's why this week's HubMob topic is so important to your area of personal finance. Parenting advice usually takes the form of potty training and discipline. Rarely do you see helpful tips on helping your children to become fiscally responsible. As far as you the parent goes, money help is usually very, very welcome. This week, we are combining to two topics. Helping two birds with one stone, you might say.

It makes sense to link personal finance and parenting advice. Regardless of whether you are a single parent or a household with both parents, the two are so intrinsically entwined. The hubs below are brimming over with information written specifically for this special topic, for you. Please take advantage of the free info and put it to good use in your life and home.

As always, it's a nice gesture to leave each hubber (writer) a little feedback about their hub (article). All you have to do is click the little circle beside, 'Good!', 'Great!' or 'Phenomenal' and then click on the 'Vote' button. That's it - easy peasy.

Thanks for visiting out HubMob this week. We'll have a brand new one with a different topic next week that we invite to come back for. Happy reading and good luck with your personal finance and parenting.

The HubMob Team

For those of you who aren't familiar with the HubMob team members, we are

Ryan (Hup) Hupfer - Communicator of Awesomeness and official HubPages employee

Princessa - team leader and terrific morale builder for the HubMob cause

Shirley Anderson (me) - I take the hub links from Princessa's weekly forum thread and put them into a hub like this one.

Normally, our pictures run along side of our names but I've been experimenting with different formats lately. Besides, you're probably tired of seeing us by now. You say you're not? You say you want to see our mugs? Okay then, check out a previous HubMob hub and have a look.

Don't worry Emi, you're with us in spirit. Rest up your fingers for next week.

Re wringing the kids necks, that's one of the perks of parenthood and a survival method for when they're driving you mad. :)

Glad you came by so I didn't have to miss you!

Hi Shirley. For the first time since I started joining hubmob like two weeks ago, I'm on the sideline. I like the topic but I feel I don't have anything to contribute here (not being a parent at all, I can't relate). But hey, I've read all the hubs and voted. At least I know where I can go back to if and when I have my own kids (and I'm wringing their necks because they don't know how to save j/k).

Thanks, Patty. I agree with you that the hubbers have done a terrific job with the topic. The end of the week tends to bring a rash more hubs, so I'm looking forward to reading lots of additional information.

      Thanks for coming by, Patty!

This is a wonderful Hub for this week's HubMob topic, which is excelent in itself. Kudos big-time to the HubMob Team and to the great writers that have contributed thus far this week. Reading advice and experiences form parents is always a good thing! They are SUPERHEROES.
