The state of Haryana was established on 1st November in 1966 consisting of a total of 21 districts.Chandigarh is the capital of Haryana.Legislature is unicameral having 90 seats in the state. This state holds 10 parliamentary constituencies and 5 Rajyasabha constituencies.Chief Minister Bhupinder Sing Hooda has been ruling the state under the governorship of Jagannath Pahadia. An area of 44,212 km2 is inhabited by a population (2011) of 25,353,081 Official languages are Punjabi and Hindi. 76.64 % are literate here. This state is generally considered a Congress’s strong ground. But the people of Haryana also like Indian National Lokdal(INLD),Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) etc.But BJP is really weak in this state considering the background of previous election.Arvind Kejriwal’s home-state is Haryana .So AAAm AAdmi Party has also thinking of getting some trace of its party in the political arena of Haryana.Bharatiya Janata Party’s Modi-Wave makes some hope for the Party. So BJP seems to get some seats. Thus the battle is on.Now we have to wait to see who did what.
