The state of Haryana was established on 1st November in 1966 consisting of a total of 21 districts.Chandigarh is the capital of Haryana.Legislature is unicameral having 90 seats in the state.This state holds 10 parliamentary constituencies and 5 Rajyasabha constituencies.Chief Minister Bhupinder Sing Hooda has been ruling the state under the governorship of Jagannath Pahadia. An area of 44,212 km2 is inhabited by a population (2011) of 25,353,081 Official languages are Punjabi and Hindi. 76.64 % are literate here.This state is generally considered a Congress’s strong ground.But the people of Haryana also like Indian National Lokdal(INLD),Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) etc.But BJP is really weak in this state considering the background of previous election.Arvind Kejriwal’s home-state is Haryana .So AAAm AAdmi Party has also thinking of getting some trace of its party in the political arena of Haryana.Bharatiya Janata Party’s Modi-Wave makes some hope for the Party.So BJP seems to get some seats.Thus the battle is on.Now we have to wait to see who did what.

In 1967 Loksabha election Indian National Congress (INC) won 7 seats ,All India Bhartiya Jan Sangh (BJS) won 1 seat and Independent (IND) party won 1 seat out of a total of 9 seats.In 1971 Loksabha election Indian National Congress (INC) won 7seats , Vishal Haryana Party(VHP) won 1seat and All India Bhartiya Jan Sangh (BJS) won 1 seat out of a total of 9 parliamentary constituencies. In 1977 Bharatiya Lok Dal (BLD) bagged 10 seats singlehandedly out of a total 10 Loksabha seats.In 1980 Indian National Congress (I-INC) got 5 seats , Janta Party (JNP) got 1seat and Janta Party (S-JNP) got 4 seats out of 10 parliamentary seats. In 1984 Indian National Congress (INC) surpassed all the parties obtaining all the 10 Loksabha seats here.In 1989 Janta Dal (JD) got 6 seats and Indian National Congress (INC) got 4 seats.
In 1991 Indian National Congress (INC) succeeded to bagg 9 Loksabha seats leaving 1 seat to Haryana Vikas Party (HVP).In 1996 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)saw its victory over 4 Loksabha constituencies when Haryana Vikas Party (HVP) succeeded to get 3 seats , Indian National Congress (INC) bagged 2 seats and Independent (IND) Party got 1.In 1998 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) obtained 1 seat , Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) got 1 seat, Haryana Lok Dal (Rastriya) (HLD - R) managed to win 4 seats , Haryana Vikas Party (HVP) got 1 seat and Indian National Congress (INC) got 3 seats .1999 Loksabha saw Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) winning 5 seats and Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) winning 5 seats .In 2004 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 1 and Indian National Congress (INC) 9 seats. In 2009 Haryana Janhit Congress (HJCBL) won 1 seats and Indian National Congress (INC) 9 seats.
