PROPHETIC WORLD CLOCK - Biblical Countdown for the End of the Current Age
OUR CLOCK represents the last seven years of the "Common Era" (C.E. or A.D. Anno Domini) traditionally reckoned as the era following the conception or birth of Jesus of Nazareth, with C.E. counting the years since the start of this epoch.
THE TIME on the "Prophetic Clock", is shown as "7 minutes 'till Midnight", reflecting the last seven years of this age, which is the point in time that we are rapidly approaching now.
"And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom [Christ the Lord] is coming; go out to meet him!’" (Matthew 25: NKJ)
This of course referring to the seven years of the "Great Tribulation Period", the final end of this age and the start of the next, the coming Kingdom of Christ on Earth for the next 1000 years. The time on the clock will ONLY change when that day finally arrives; until the final minutes start counting down it will remain at (11:53 C.E.).
This IS NOT the "Doomsday Clock" either (at least not for the "saved" believers), but reflects a time for great rejoicing in the next age that is coming and a message of hope and salvation for the rest of the world; all those who have not found the love and grace of the Lord God yet.

'I believe in UFOs... and I've seen them': Former Canadian defence minister accuses American government of cover-up
Paul Hellyer: The ex-Canadian Minister of National Defense says he is convinced that UFOs are real and alleges the U.S. has covered up information on them.
As Canada's former Minister of National Defense, Paul Hellyer says he would probably get fired for his views if he was still in office today. but is adamant that he has seen UFOs himself.
He is currently on an the advisory body to the Queen, works as an environmental campaigner and is credited with integrating Canada's armed forces. But aside from all this, the ex-Canadian defence minister says UFOs are real, aliens have visited Earth and the U.S. government is covering up information about them. He believes the U.S. has developed new forms of energy at secret ‘black operation’ units using alien technology and that a ‘shadow government’ is behind this activity.
Astronaut Edgar Mitchell has praised Hellyer's writings on a 'shadow U.S. government' using alien technology.
Mr Hellyer added: ‘People keep talking about transparency and still not telling the truth, and this applies in various other areas as well as UFOs. Mr Hellyer's website says that he is the 'first person of cabinet rank in the G8 group of countries to state unequivocally "UFO’s are as real as the airplanes flying overhead".'
Other public figures who have stated UFOs are of extra-terrestrial origin include former USSR leader Mikhail Gorbachev, Professor Stephen Hawking and Ronald Reagan.

Nation of Islam Convention to include talk of UFOs
The Nation of Islam, long known for its promotion of black nationalism and self-reliance, now is calling attention to another core belief that perhaps isn't so well-known: the existence of UFOs.

Thousands of followers gather in suburban Chicago this weekend for the group's annual Saviours' Day convention, which starts Friday and ends Sunday with Minister Louis Farrakhan's keynote address. One of the main events will include a panel of scientists discussing worldwide UFO sightings, which they claim are on the rise.
During last year's Saviours' Day speech, Farrakhan for the first time in years discussed in detail a vision he had in Mexico in 1985 involving an object he calls "the wheel." Using charts, photos and drawings, he spent almost four hours describing how he was invited aboard and heard Elijah Muhammad speak to him. Farrakhan says that experience led him to inklings about future events.
Farrakhan, 77, has said the wheel, with its great capacity for destruction, contains the "wisdom to purify the planet," but has harmed no one so far. He also claimed there have been governmental attempts to cover-up proof of the wheel, which he says many call UFOs. Nation of Islam leaders often quote Biblical references to the prophet Ezekiel - along with Elijah Muhammad's teachings - when it comes to the wheel.
Some experts have made comparisons to the Biblical concept of Rapture, which teaches believers will be taken up to heaven, while everyone else will remain on earth for a period of torment, concluding with the end of time.

Report: Satellite images expose covert Syria nuclear facility
Institute for Science and International Security says new intel proves site suspected as a nuclear facility serves as a uranium conversion plant, adds photos prove Syrian attempts to hide its nuclear attempts.
Haaretz reports: "Satellite images show a Syrian nuclear facility thought to be related to the one Israel reportedly destroyed in a 2007 strike was in fact a uranium conversion site, a U.S.-based research institute reported on Wednesday.
The report comes as Syria continues to claim that the Dair Alzour site bombed in a 2007 aerial strike was not a nuclear facility, while it also continues to prevent United Nations scientists from inspecting the site, with the last such visit taking place in 2008.
In late December 2010, Haaretz cited a report by the German newspaper Sueddeutsche Zeitung, alleging that three new sites linked to the one allegedly bombed by Israel in 2007 had been uncovered.
ISIS claimed, in addition, that the photos also uncovered Syrian attempts to conceal their nuclear attempts…"

Peres: Iran ships in Suez should serve as warning to Europe
Haaretz reports: "Iran's dispatch of two navy ships to the Mediterranean Sea should serve as a warning to Europe about the nuclear proliferation risk posed by Tehran, President Shimon Peres said on Wednesday.
Passage of the ships doesn't in itself present a threat to the region, but it does threaten Europe and the rest of the world, the president says while on visit in Spain.
Israel has voiced discomfort at the arrival of the Iranian frigate and support vessel, which passed through the Suez Canal en route to Syria on Tuesday in the Islamic republic's first military use of the strategic waterway in Egypt.
‘Iran is developing nuclear weaponry ... and when nuclear weapons fall into the hands of terror groups, or Iranian proxies, European capitals will be under an existential threat,’ he said, according to a transcript provided by his office…"

Israel debates 'END TIMES' as Arab world revolts
Using language that mirrors that of "end times" prophecy debates in the Christian world, Israelis are increasingly wondering what the mounting turmoil in the Middle East is ultimately leading to.
A number of prominent rabbis have come forward with their interpretations of what is going on, and the casual observer would be forgiven for initially mistaking their remarks as coming from an Evangelical Christian.
"People have come to me and said that it’s ‘Gog and Magog’. We cannot know. But it’s probable that any unrest that God creates shows that the Messiah is coming," wrote Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky on the Israeli religious Internet portal Haredim.
Rabbi Michel Yehuda Lefkowitz acknowledged that current events are a sign of the times, and that the Messiah is likely coming soon.

SOLAR STORMS - A powerful solar flare hit the Earth last week – and experts are now warning that the next one could be catastrophic
The Indepentent.co.uk reports: "Havoc wreaked by a solar storm – such as the one that occurred last week – could be equivalent to a ‘global hurricane Katrina’ that would cost up to $2 trillion dollars in damage to communications satellites, electric power grids and GPS navigation systems, scientists said yesterday.
When it hit our magnetic field it generated magnetic storms and power surges which disrupted communications and grounded flights.
Senior government advisers have warned that the world has never been more vulnerable to the effects of such an events. An increasing reliance on electronic equipment, such as GPS satellite navigation and the computers controlling smart grids for electricity distribution, has meant that solar storms can now produce unprecedented damage on a global scale, they said.
The approximately 11-year solar cycle is now emerging from one of its quietest periods in 50 years and is expected to reach a solar maximum in 2013, when the number of solar flares on the Sun which generate electromagnetic storms reaches a peak.

G-20 reach compromise deal on Global Financial imbalances

The world's dominant economies on Saturday took a small step toward smoothing out the global trade and currency imbalances at the root of the global financial crisis.
Finance ministers and central bankers from the United States, Britain, China and other large developed and developing economies struck a compromise deal after all-night talks on how such imbalances should be measured.
But International Monetary Fund Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn criticized the watered-down deal, suggesting that the compromise was watered down because of national self-interest.
The attempt to give the world economy an extreme makeover has gotten some of its momentum from the rise of countries such as India, China and Brazil to become economic and political giants in their own right.

Al-Qaeda: Still on Schedule for World Domination?
Israel National News reports: "Al-Qaeda watchers have been keeping their eye on its ‘master plan for world domination,’ first revealed in 2005.
The plan was revealed by Jordanian journalist Fouad Hussein when he interviewed top Al Qaeda leaders, including the mastermind of many terror attacks in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.
The plan is described as a seven-stage, long-term war, ending with the world coming under control of the Islamic Caliphate.
Phase III, which was to follow the 9/11 attacks and subsequent preparations for Islamic battle against the West, was expected to last from 2007 to 2010. It was to have included ‘increasingly frequent attacks against secular Turkey and arch-enemy Israel.’
Phase Four, scheduled for between 2010 and 2013, foresees the ‘downfall of hated Arab regimes. Observers have suggested that Saudi Arabia and Jordan could be in danger as well.
Phase Five, between 2013 and 2016, has been designated as the period of the formation of a world-wide Islamic state, or caliphate. Immediately afterwards, the ‘Islamic army’ will instigate the ‘fight between the believers and the non-believers’ that has so often been predicted by al-Qaeda's leader, Osama bin Laden, ending with ‘definitive victory'."

Israel could still strike Iran, despite Mideast unrest
While chaos and change reigned supreme, Iran succeeded in repairing its uranium-enrichment plant after the cyber attack by the Stuxnet computer worm.
Haaretz reports: "The uprisings in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya have focused Israeli attention on the west, and overshadowed the disturbing news from the east: Iran has succeeded in repairing its uranium-enrichment plant at Natanz, whose functioning had been disrupted by the Stuxnet computer worm. The 1,000 centrifuges that were destroyed - about one-tenth of those in the installation - have been replaced by new ones. The Iranians are maintaining their rate of production and continuing to stockpile enriched uranium.
The idea that Israel would embark on a preemptive war and bomb the atomic facilities in Iran appeared irrelevant. This impression is deceptive and the optimism is unwarranted. We have not ‘won’ yet and the military option vis-a-vis Tehran has not been dismissed. Its proponents explain that an Iranian nuclear bomb would change the face of the Middle East forever. After Iran will come Turkey, Egypt and Saudi Arabia, and the identities of the regimes that will rule there are less important than the geopolitics: None of them will agree to the dominant status afforded to Iran by the bomb, and they will also want one. When the bombs proliferate, the danger of them falling into terrorist hands will also increase.

WMD no-first-use in the Middle East: A way to move forward in 2012?
At the 2010 Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) Review Conference, a declaration was approved unanimously to hold a conference in 2012 to discuss the notion of a zone free of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) in the Middle East. Since this decision, however, it is not clear what, if any, preparations have been taken with regard to organizing the conference, and there remain many more unknowns than knowns about what is expected to take place.
Over the past few years, the nuclear weapons matter has dominated discussions on regional arms control, and two key issues have influenced this trend: current dangers posed by Iran's nuclear program, as well as the prominence of President Barack Obama's global nuclear disarmament agenda.
Such an agreement, however, is a mixed bag of benefits and disadvantages for the parties involved. If deep suspicions remain and the fear of surprise attack that might be carried out contrary to obligations persists, a WMD arms race would continue. Moreover, WMD would be granted implicit legitimacy due to their continued role in states' security conceptions and deterrence value. States that depend on a WMD deterrent for national security might move to bolster their conventional forces. The no-first-use agreement would also have to take into account possible WMD use by non-state actors.
These are only some of the issues to be considered when exploring the idea of a WMD-free zone in the Middle East.

Al Qaeda actively seeking "dirty" bombs
SpaceWar.com reports: "Al-Qaeda is attempting to procure nuclear material and recruit rogue scientists in order to build a radioactive ‘dirty bomb,’ leaked documents published in Wednesday's Telegraph newspaper revealed.
The cables, released by the Wikileaks website, showed that security chiefs told a NATO meeting in January 2009 that Al-Qaeda was planning a programme of ‘dirty radioactive improvised explosive devices (IEDs).’
The makeshift nuclear bombs, which could be used against soldiers fighting in Afghanistan, would contaminate the surrounding area for years to come.
The leaked documents also revealed that Al-Qaeda papers found in 2007 convinced security officials that ‘greater advances’ had been made in bio-terrorism than was previously feared.
US security personnel were warned in 2008 that terrorists had ‘the technical competence to manufacture an explosive device beyond a mere dirty bomb.’…"

UN report: North Korea has secret nuclear sites

Pakistan Doubles Nuclear Arsenal
Fox News reports: "Pakistan has doubled its nuclear weapons stockpile over the past several years, increasing its arsenal to more than 100 deployed weapons, according to a published report.
As a result, Pakistan has now edged ahead of India, its nuclear-armed rival, The Washington Post reported late Sunday, citing non-government analysts. India is estimated to have 60 to 100 weapons.
‘They have been expanding pretty rapidly,’ the report quoted David Albright, president of the Institute for Science and International Security, as saying.
Based on recently accelerated production of plutonium and highly enriched uranium, Islamabad may now have an arsenal of up to 110 weapons, Albright said.

There is a Message of HOPE for the WORLD!

Even though everything we have discussed and shown thus far seems to depict a tragic and fateful end for our world, that is actually NOT THE CASE! The state of humanity's existence does not end in chaos or complete destruction at this time. Nor will these events leave the whole world in a panicked state of confusion, always to be frustrated in futile attempts trying to achieve a Utopian existence. The "Great Tribulation" period is only for a few short years and is merely a transitional period at end of an age. A NEW AGE IS COMING immediately thereafter!
"...SEE THAT YOU ARE NOT TROUBLED; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." (Matthew 24:6 NKJ)
"All these are the beginning of birth pains [sorrows]." (Matthew 24:8 NIV-KJV)
This is probably the most accurate representation of the entire "Great Tribulation" event. "Birth pains" are very discomforting and often quite painful. A new birth involves "labor" which is an extremely strenuous and exhausting process (ask any woman who has endured this). The end result however, is "relief" from this labor and suffering because a "new life" is then born!
That is exactly what will transpire in this world. We are in the final chapter of an old and worn out age of civilization. A grand and glorious new age lies directly ahead for those of us that endure and have accepted the Lord God.
In the final part of the prophetic dream to King Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 2:34-35), a gigantic stone is seen as falling from the heavens, striking and destroying the statue of the image. The statue completely dissolves into dust but a great mountain rises in its place that fills the whole Earth. The Lord further interprets this vision for the prophet (Daniel 2:44-45) and likewise we can now draw a similar conclusion of what it represents. Basically, the entire system of mankind's government and religion on the Earth will be brought to an abrupt end, as Christ the "Messiah" returns to claim His Kingdom. What lies beyond the "Great Tribulation" is the birth of a new and glorious society in the world, a true utopia with Jesus Christ its King. This is the "blessed hope" (Titus 2:13) for all of mankind to rejoice in! The problems currently facing our world today will be once and forever resolved.
THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF ALL THESE PROPHECIES
Therefore, these sometimes frightening words of prophecy are really a harbinger of hope to those who are searching for God today. It is through the belief that Christ died for our sins (John 3:16) and faith in His second coming (1 Thessalonians 4:14-18), that we are all "saved" and will enter into the coming Kingdom of Heaven along with Him.
"For the grace of God has appeared that offers SALVATION TO ALL PEOPLE. It teaches us to say 'No' to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope - the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ." (Titus 2:11–13 NIV)
