America Lost

America America God shed his grace on thee and crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea.

At no other time in history have we needed Gods grace so much as we we do now. America the beautiful is quickly becoming America lost. It seems as if the very fabric of our society is unraveling. The rights bestowed on us by our precious constitution are under attack. Our right to free speech is heavily censored and laws have been enacted in some states to disarm law abiding American citizens. In Virginia the governor is threatening to use the National Guard to take guns.

The Pledge of Allegiance to our flag has been taken out of schools and many events. Athletes and other people are taking a knee in protest,others are stepping on our beloved flag and ripping it or burning it.

So how did we get to this point? What happened to the America that our ancestors so proudly left us? What happened to the pride and respect that we used to proudly display? To answer this we must look back at the current events happening in society. It's not a pretty picture.

It started with the removal of the Ten Commandments from court houses and schools this was followed by banning the Pledge of Allegiance and the moment of prayer in school. Many schools do not allow the pregame prayer at sporting events. All of this was just the beginning.

A 40 foot concrete cross on public land in Maryland that honors the soldiers from World War 1 became a target because a group of people called the American Humanist Association who promote secular governance complained it violated the constitution. A Supreme Court ruling in a 7-2 vote determined the cross could remain. Liberal Judges Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor dissented saying it favored one religion over others.

The 2017 removal of a statute of General Robert E. Lee which was gifted to Dallas in 1936 and the removal of another statute Of General Lee in New Orleans in May of 2017 was the the beginning of a movement to remove anything that any group of people find offensive. The Lee statute was removed in the dark of night because the contractors had received death threats. There were a total of four statutes removed in New Orleans. the rewriting of history had begun. The removal of these statutes was the beginning of the end for an endless stream of demands to remove statutes and memorials that were part of history.

Gone are the days of reading, writing and arithmetic in our schools and studying in the libraries. These are the places where the indoctrination of our children is being taught.

In the last few years a new kind of learning is taking place in our public schools and libraries. It is called Drag Queen Story Hour. This entails having grown men dressed in drag reading to children and often holding them on their laps. Many of these so called Queens have been found to be pedophiles. This kind of activity is claimed to teach our children inclusion. It is an introduction to the gay and trans lifestyle to make it acceptable to the children.

There is also an increasing demand by many on the left to tech Sex Ed to our children starting at kindergarten including oral sex, anal sex and alternative lifestyles. This has prompted many parents to resort to home school in states where it is allowed. Some law makers are also advocating for 10 hour school days to have more control over the children under the guise of helping parents who work late or pay child care.

None of these things are in the best interest of the child or the family unit.

Open borders, Medicare for all, free college, money for those who don't want to work, wealth distribution, gun confiscation and microchips. These are just a few of the platforms on which the 2020 candidates for Presidents are running. It is nothing more than guise for total government control over the population.

Several recent polls show that 85% of young people believe that being a communist country would be what is best for America. Many in our congress are self-proclaimed socialist and have plans for social reform which would make America a Socialist country.

Socialism did not bode well for Venezuela. It was 15 years ago that it was one of the wealthiest country's in the world now its people are dying from starvation and lack of medicine . The only one's prospering are the politicians who ran on the everything free platform. Their citizens gave up their arms and now when protesting are attacked and killed by the same government that promised to protect them.

This is only the beginning. If we do not hold tightly to our rights and freedoms we are doomed to repeat the lessons of the Civil War and Venezuela.
