Bernie vs Biden

I do not post on politics as it is a personal decision or pronounce absolutes like this is the most important presidential election in our history, as one cannot predict the future. I will offer an opinion and suggestion as the situation warrants it. In his famous "House Divided" speech, Abraham Lincoln began with these words, "If we could first know where we are, and whither we are tending, we could then better judge what to do, and how to do it" We know where we are, a Democratic party nomination race between Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders, where are we tending is the big question? Joe Biden is a decent and honorable man but he cannot and will not beat Donald Trump if he is the nominee. Biden is a repeat of 2016 and we all know how that turned out. One may not agree with all Bernie Sanders' proposals but the majority of Americans want his most important one- a single payer health care system. Bernie would have defeated Trump in 2016 and will defeat him in 2020 if nominated. The Democratic party leadership wants you to believe only Biden can beat Trump, but it is not true, Biden represents the Washington establishment and the status quo, Bernie has been in Washington a long time as well, but has never embraced or been embraced by the establishment. We know what we have to do, but can we? Think about supporting Bernie Sanders and a vote for change. Just a suggestion
