Donald Sterling Is Not Alone Being A Racist – It’s Just that He Was Stupid Enough To Be Caught Being A Racist On Tape....

I have been patient and deliberate in my waiting to opine on the Donald Sterling racist saga because I wanted to see how the reportage would go… and for me, it was typical. The usual race hustlers took their respective places on the morning and evening shows - you know, the Al Sharpton and the Jesse Jackson and the rest who make up the minor ‘blame whitey’ posse, who usually travel with their Gas trucks to find ways to put out the legitimate or otherwise racist fires with copious amount of gasoline, while pretending to care about who is or was in the racist (s) crosshairs. In addition, the White Liberal chat-fests parroted the apt quotes from Dr. Martin-Luther-King, while, if one were paying close attention and not falling for the rhetorical bait and switch, one would have noticed the dearth of minorities in these so called Liberal newsrooms.

Lest I further prolong my parallel tangent on the subject of racism… let us discuss Donald Sterling, the owner of the San Diego Clippers basketball team, whose taped racist conversation set off the current fire-storm debate. I dare say that as vile as those words coming from Donald Sterling were… there are those proud Liberals, who, incidentally, would tell you with Cicero-like conviction that they voted for President Obama, yet, they feel the same way as the octogenarian Sterling does in years and race relations. Of course, no Liberal, including those in Hollywood, is stupid enough to get caught on tape like Mr. Sterling - but their actions in their business endeavors mirror how Sterling feels about Minorities, especially Blacks.

If one were to listen to one of the tapes of Sterling’s racist rants, one would hear that he was mad because his concubine took Instagrams with Blacks, including famed basketball star Magic Johnson… and this made Mr. Sterling mad because, apparently, his friends saw the Instagrams, and would tease him about them. Now, why would his friends tease Mr. Sterling about his girlfriend being in photos with Blacks, if those same friends were not racists too? The truth is that many Liberals have the same sentiments as Mr. Sterling concerning the Black race... it is why that even though the great actress Merrill Streep may now have wrinkles and crow’s feet in abundance that she would probably refuse to do a love scene with Will Smith, who is ‘high yellow,’ and twenty years her junior.

We are going to crucify Mr. Sterling in perpetuity for his remarks – but make no mistake that many who are vocally doing so and who are ‘progressive’ in their politics feel the same way. It is why during the coming new fall season for television or the casting for pending movies, you will see the conspicuous lack of Blacks in major roles - you may say that the Liberal powers in Hollywood are only catering to the majority… and right you are! Every day, many who are Liberals, indeed, do not utter the ‘N’ word to describe Blacks, but those of us who are Blacks and who have the Work Ethic and pound the pavement seeking gainful employment, even when times are good economically, are refused jobs by many of those same Liberals. There will be no tapes with the nasty name calling of Blacks… but every day decisions are made not to hire and I dare say that those decisions are much more life impacting than what Mr. Sterling uttered.

Racism does not make any logical sense, especially in light of the fact that the slave masters would sneak into the shacks and have sexual relations with those they consider animals… case in point, slavery has ended, and Mr. Sterling's lady friend is part Black, yet it did not matter to him or the fact that those who were contributing economically to Mr. Sterling's coffers were Black… in that same hypocritical vein, I can bet you that all the late night comedians made fun of Mr. Sterling, but you noticed that when Jay Leno and David Letterman announced their respective retirements… not one Black was in the mix to replace either of them. By the way, why is that in certain sports - football and basketball - where Blacks make up a huge part of the majority of players, yet the commissioners are White or Jewish? Once again, the great author and futurist George Orwell was right when he opined in his Opus, 1984 that Freedom is slavery!

This type of loan just isn't exactly the same as your house loan to get a spot to live but is a bit more often these days a difeerfnt loanapplied for using your property equity for collateral super real cole, 29, wants to fight for his place at liverpool but stood a poor first seasonblighted by niggling injuries which is struggling to impose himself on kenny dalglish's first-team plans.

They need more black bosses and cops. Always use black hands to handle your black issues.

Example 2. A white person is being charged with discrimination by a black person. Don't you think a black skinned lawyer could help the white person better than a white skin lawyer. It is hard to find a black person to help you so you have a white person go undercover as a black man.

You make some good points on the political issues. But I do think white people need a black voice. Let me give you some real life scenarios in how it would play out.

Example 1. a place of business has a handful of black employees who are rebellious and have negative attitudes. All the managers are

white and they can't seem to motivate their black employees. So the

y take one of the white managers and have him go undercover as a black man to try to motivate the black employees. A black voice can

      Mediate.

build trust between white management and black employees. The

white community must find that black voice.

      example 2.

Hiring blacks to get the black vote wouldn't help. Black republicans are not considered "blacks" by the majority of the black vote or by democrats for that matter - they think of them as uncle toms or token blacks only accepted into the republican party for appearances sake. Any honest appraisal of black republicans reveals this to be a lie.

Blacks mostly voted Republican from after the Civil War and through the early part of the 20th century. The Democratic Party didn’t welcome blacks then, and it wasn’t until 1924 that blacks were even permitted to attend Democratic conventions in any official capacity. Most blacks lived in the South, where they were mostly prevented from voting at all.

Since President Lyndon B. Johnson pushed through the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1964 (outlawing segregation in public places) Johnson got 94 percent of the black vote that year, a record. The following year Johnson signed the 1965 Voting Rights Act. No Republican presidential candidate has gotten more than 15 percent of the black vote since.

      http://www.factcheck.org/2008/04/blacks-and-the-de...

All this despite the fact that it is clear that the civil rights bill of 1964 would have failed without Republican votes. Close observers of the Senate deliberations recognized that the Republican leader, Senator Everett McKinley Dirksen of Illinois, had done yeoman work in responding to the objections of individual Republicans and holding almost all of them together in support of the bill. “More than any other single individual,” the New York Times acknowledged, “he was responsible for getting the civil rights bill through the Senate.”

I agree that Romney ran a poor campaign but to suggest that anything would keep black voters from voting for Obama is crazy. The vast majority of Blacks still vote Democrat despite that the Democrat party has done nothing but use them in 50 years and even after 6 years of Obama their plights are worse than ever .

Why didn't mitt romney hire some black people to help him get black votes? Or have a white man go undercover as black man? I will never understand the white man.

white man always uses white hands to handle his black issues. Needs black hands! Oh well I don't call the shots!

I find it interesting how Obama responded to this. Remember Obama: "Police who arrested professor acted stupidly" Of course the only reason that incident got any attention from Obama was because he was friends with that professor. How the police acted actually had nothing to do with his feeling he had to make a statement and if the professor wasn't his personal friend he probably never would have even heard about it or even cared.

Of course he had to stick his two cents in on the Travon Martin case too because if he had a son "he would look like Travon".

This time however President Barack Obama said that comments reportedly made by the owner of a U.S. pro basketball team are "incredibly offensive racist statements," before casting them as part of a continuing legacy of slavery and segregation that Americans must confront.

"When ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance, you don't really have to do anything, you just let them talk," Obama said when asked to respond to the reported comments from Los Angeles Clippers' owner Donald Sterling.

I'm wondering who he is referring to in that statement, "When ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance, you don't really have to do anything, you just let them talk"?

Sterling didn't advertise his ignorance. The girl friend who recorded his statements in private and the media who publicized what he said to her in private are the ones who advertised his ignorance (if you want to call it that) So he is actually saying they are the ignorant ones, not Sterling. Of course the NSA scandal demonstrates that Obama does not understand the meaning of privacy. Perhaps Obama meant to say "just let them talk" in private and record it?

Seems Mr. Obama, could it be when every word out of your mouth is a lie you can't help but lie even when you are trying to make a truthful statement? But then your administration has done so much to help blacks I suppose it is their fault that by any measure their plights are worse than when you took office almost 6 years ago.

First of all, let me say that I don't agree with what Donald Sterling was caught saying on those tapes, BUT, and that is a great big BUT, I thought this was a free country. Everyone has the right to think and feel the way they want. I feel the one that should be chastised is the one tat made te recording and then released. And if it was his "concubine" I would say he was goaded into saying what he did. And you are right, I would say at least 80% of the people that are making such a big deal out of it are just as bad if not worse. And where are all of those friends of his that would laugh at him. They don't have the guts to stand up for him. This is just a short version of my opinion on this situation, Greg.

Racism is a two way street. But as a white man I know exactly what the white community needs to do to protect themselves. They need to have a small percentage of white men go undercover as black men and use them as a tool in the white man's tool box.

white boss goes undercover as a black man to get more productivity

      out of their black employees.

White security guard goes undercover as a black man.

white lawyer goes undercover as a black man to protect white man from discrimination lawsuits.

White people need to understand that a black face can protect them much better than a white face.

I think everybody to a degree has some degree of 'prejudiced' feelings re certain backgrounds .. and the media tends to feed off it even more and exploit those same sentiments ...

Interesting analysis re Sterling here though..
