"Guilty until proven innocent or Innocent until proven guilty"

Updated on May 7, 2012

Guilty until proven innocent or innocent until proven guilty"

If you're fighting in the justice system, you're suppose to be innocent until proven guilty, but in most cases you guilty until someone proves you're innocent.
If you're fighting in the justice system, you're suppose to be innocent until proven guilty, but in most cases you guilty until someone proves you're innocent.

Guilty until proven innocent or innocen until proven until guilty"

Guilty until prove innocent or Innocent until proven guilty, that is the question. according to our judicial system, we are suppose to be innocent until proven guilty; but by man's law we are guilty until we are proven innocent. Unfortunate for us, we live in a backwards society. We live in a society where circumstanial evidence can make it seem like you're guilty, when you're not.

We are constantly trying to prove our innocence and credibiltiy to the judges and jurors. We live our lives on the judicial law of innocent until proven guilty, when it's actually guilty until proven innocent. Most times in court trials, even though; we have already been judged guilty because of the evidence that's held against us. They can say we're are innocent until they prove us guilty, but the truth of the matter is in their eyes, we're already guilty until someone else prove us innocent.

The prosecution is trying to prove our guilt by the preponderance of evidence. that they have acquired against us. On the other hand our lawyers are trying to prove our innocence by the preponderance of truths. sometimes we are fighting hard and heavy for our lives, but what it really boils down to is, guilty until proven innocent and not innocent until proven guilty.

This is a true fact of how our court system works, even if you're not guilty, you're assumed guilty, until it can be proven otherwise.

creativeone, The powers to be - Lawyers and solicitors do not care either way. They are there to win, and that means winning at all costs.

They may know you are innocent, but money and the smartest lawyer will win out.

So we really do not have a hope of winning unless we have the smartest lawyer. It drives me around the bend at the injustice these days

This is sad but true creativeone, even though the presumption of innocence is suppose to come first. And realizing that being the case, we have to act within those restraints.

You are right. In most cases, the law enforcement agents pronounce us guilty until proven innocement. Ordinarily, we should be innocent until proven guilty. Thanks for this hub.
