Hypocrites to the Left of Me

Updated on June 3, 2018

Lady is in the Kitchen

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Sunday, June 3, 2018. Our dear friend, Lady, is in the kitchen preparing Ham and Mushroom Baked Eggs for our enjoyment. She is thoroughly disgusted by the hypocrites in la-la land that react swiftly to anything that a conservative says whether it be in good or bad taste. On the other hand, they get a universal pass at being disgusting, tasteless, vulgar and cruel. Please join Lady this morning to bat this topic around a bit, in the company of friends.

Source

A Conservative Piñata

Thanks so much for joining Pop and me this morning. Apparently, it is open season on conservatives in our nation. The left considers anyone who disagrees with them to be the enemy. A perfect example of this insane bad behavior is "Full Frontal" host Sanmantha Bee. She attacked lovely Ivanka Trump in the most vulgar way possible over a photograph of Ivanka and her beautiful child that was posted on social media. The Bee stung Ivanka in a crude statement that made excellent use of the "f" word and the "c" word. Those on the left who love Bee, need not worry. Her job is intact, because hypocrisy in the entertainment industry abounds. The list of shows I will never watch keeps growing, along with movies I will never see and sporting events I will never attend.

Source

Take Aim at a Conservative

Roseanne Barr posted an inappropriate tweet about Valerie Jarrett, President Obama's handler while he was in office. Her reference to the Muslim Brotherhood had the ring of truth to it. Her second reference to the movie "Planet of the Apes" was unfortunate. Ms. Barr apologized immediately. Ms. Barr was fired immediately. Her successful show was cancelled by ABC. Now the network is thinking of continuing the "Roseanne" show without Roseanne. Good luck with that! The moral of the story boys and girls is that those on the left can play dirty, and life will go on. If you make a mistake and you happen be a Conservative, you are going down. Our culture is dominated by liberals, and their standards are hypocritical to say the least. Ms. Barr's apology did not alter the outcome for her. If she were a liberal, and the remark had been about a conservative, her show would be running and her career would be intact.

Source

The Liberal Audience is Shrinking

The National Anthem controversy resulted in a loss of revenue for the owners. Conservative's do have a voice, but we are selective about our conversations. Liberals are not so choosy. They will target anyone who disagrees with them, and for the most part they do it with impunity. HBO didn't bat an eye when not so funny Bill Maher used the N-word. Joy Behar had the full support of ABC when she compared Vice President Pence's Christian faith to mental illness. If Joy were speaking about a liberal, her seat on the View would have been emptied in a New York minute. Jimmy Kimmel is now the left's new voice of reason. Kimmel appeared on Comedy Central in full black face imitating NBA star Karl Malon. ABC patted him on the back and gave him his own show. ABC acted in bad faith once again when they ignored Wanda Sykes comparing President Trump to an orangutan. Sykes gets to keep her career, but Roseanne gets banished. We are drowning in hypocrisy, and the ugliness is changing our nation in very regrettable and dangerous ways.

Source

A Boatload of Crazies

There are too many examples of the double standard out there to discuss. Suffice to say, it exists and as long as the left control's the media, it will continue to grow. Our nation is suffering from a lack of civility. We are learning through social media how vicious some people really are. When it comes to slamming President Trump and his family, the gloves are off and the rhetoric turns ugly. Those that engage in bashing the president and his supporters have sullied our nation. Trump Derangement Syndrome is not a joke. Rather, it is a reality. We witness it on the air, in print, in our families and our places of business. We are coming apart at the seams, and social media has made it easy to bash people with relative ease. Personally, I don't see this trend reversing anytime soon. I believe we have turned a corner, and there may not be a way back. Insanity is the new normal and slowly, but surely, we are destroying ourselves, This is a very sad time for our nation. I guess it's every man for himself.

Lady's Song

She loves the scent of truth in the air

She has no patience

For those that don't care

That's why this lady is a tramp...

How do you maintain your sanity in that incredibly liberal state?? I'm in shock. My son tells me that he just tries hard to ignore a whole lot and has learned to keep his mouth shut. During the campaign, he had not one, but 2 Trump signs taken from his yard. He didn't bother with a third for fear someone would try to throw a brick through his front window!!

BTW....I did critique. You were not wrong anywhere. I am certain that a liberal would be more than thrilled to tell you otherwise. (You could have left one little danish for me......!!)

I have to tell you that here in CA we have 38 million people and they would vote democrat even if the candidate was drug cartel leader.

My wife and I just voted today for the CA primary, the republicans on the ticket just seem to give up against the wave of blue.

Yet, anyone with a democrat in their party preference will be a knee jerk vote. I am sure it is the same on the East Coast.

If it wasn't for the middle of the country, we would have been drowned by a blue tsunami.

      Good Morning brad,

I agree with you and the president. Hypocrisy reveals itself daily, from the football team on the field, to the reporters sitting in for a press briefing. Every single Dem involved in holding up the president's appointments is a hypocrite, The news media has betrayed all of us with their bias and their hypocrisy. The betrayers are still in office and still running the government. It's time to clear the air and boot them out. Thanks for your comment and for coming to the breakfast table.

Here is something connected to the left versus "Right" :)

President Trump just uninvited the Philadelphia Eagles from the WH visit. His reason, that they couldn't come as a team and honor the National Anthem.

I was listening to a person from Philadelphia who was in the Philadelphia government and he told CNN Don Lemon that this president has changed tradition for his own.

Why should a president bring a team that puts football above that of patriotism. Trump said that the Anthem honors the people that have died in the service of protecting our country.

He is not saying that you can't disagree with the president, but when you do it against the Anthem you are doing against the country.

How does anyone separate the symbols of the country like the Flag and the Anthem. These are the traditions that have lasted for more than 200 years, till now.

This is a democratic republic and not a democracy. The flag represents that republic.

The point here is that We the People get our democracy from being able to vote who will represent us in our country. The left can't wait until the election, and they have resisted everything the We the People elected our representatives including the president in 2016.

      This is the true hypocrisy.

This is not just about rogue football players, but a tear in the fabric of our country, and what it stands for.

Sports doesn't nor should it Trump patriotism and pride of country. But that is what happened during the 8 years of the Obama nation.

Pride and loyalty to ones local sports team should pale in comparison to that of the US.

del if I kicked the ball out of bounds.

This is all they have, and now that it is more and more apparent that the mid term elections might not give them that blue wave they have been waiting for, they will double down to try to steal, oops, I meant get votes. Between now and November, it will be hell for us, but we will will again! Trump was never supposed to win, and the republicans are not supposed to win in the mid terms. It will happen!

I look at it this way.

First I don't think that Roseanne had anything to apologize for because of the tweet.

      1. No one knew or cares that VJ was Valerie Jarrett.

      2. Valerie Jarrett has major ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, and she was one of president Obama's top aides and counselors.

      3. The first part of Roseanne's tweet was the left side factor of an equation.

      4. This part was then added to the Planet of the Apes.

      5. Neither the Muslim nor the Planet was detailed or specific. That is any inferences from it had to be done by the person reading it.

      6. The right side of the equation is the result of adding the two parts on the left side of the equation.

      7. This was VJ and there are millions of VJs.

      8. Could you or anyone that you know figured out from this equation who was VJ?

      9. Even finding out that VJ was Valerie Jarret, I had to google it to find out about her. I suspect that would be the normal case.

      10. The point is that VJ and the equation doesn't really say anything specific.

      11. Certainly there was nothing patently said by that equation. Especially if you compare it to the Bee with the incorrect C and F usage.

      12. Also the Bee comment was scripted, and it was part of her show. That show was as responsible as was she because they could have edited that out, but they chose to leave it in.

      13. Roseanne did it as a person and not a representative of the Roseanne show. It was 3AM in the morning and she thought this was funny, and it was done without a script and without anyone else. It was intellectual and not just spit out like rancid food as did the Bee. My point is that the Bee and Roseanne weren't even doing the same thing.

      14. As for the equation, people immediately use the Race card. According to Roseanne who didn't hide from the VJ being Valerie Jarrett she only said she didn't think she was black. And looking at the pictures of VJ even next to light skinned black president Obama you really wouldn't think she was black.

      15. Putting the equation in the frame where VJ was not black, then there must have been another point by Roseanne.

      16. Keeping the black card out of the equation, then what can be the meaning of putting Muslim Brotherhood and Planet of the Apes. Well the Planet of the Apes is where the Apes are the intelligent beings and the humans are the animals.

      17. In addition, to the humans and the Apes, there were the Gorillas and the Chimpanzee. There was however a character in the movie that had the same kind of facial structure as VJ.

The Ape that reflected that character was not Black.

This had to be added by the people that read the equation.

      18. Compare what Jimmy Kimmel said about president Trump looking like an Orangutan, and also said by Wanda Sykes. Sykes also put down the people that voted for Trump.

      19. Then the msm tries to spread the Roseanne equation to the president and all of the people that voted for him.

      20. It seems like the msm needs to apologize to their viewers because they intentionally fanned the flames that they themselves created.

      21. Why isn't the public enraged about alleged news media can make their own Bee inappropriate phrases. And they do it scripted and with the approval of their management and owners.

      22. in reality, any of these statements can be expressions of free speech and protected by the first amendment. But the way that the left and the msm handle it is by picking sides and not caring that it is not employing equality. This equality was what they used to get gay marriages. But they have forgotten equality in this instance.

      23. in addition, they should be equally protected by free speech, but that doesn't mean that they are not or could be construed or deemed rude, offensive, and in bad taste.

      24. ABC just hired back the foul mouth Keith Obermann for their failing ESPN.

      25. ABC and its president, and management should be making an apology to the country, and everyone in for claiming to be news and entertainment moguls but in reality just being what they punish other people for doing.

Finally, ABC mots apparently it the classic one

"Do as I say and not as I do"

This was a very long and detailed comment, and I would appreciate someone critiquing it to tell me where I might be wrong.

      Thanks

      Good morning, Pop and Lady...

As usual, I am impressed and uplifted by your commentators which continue to express intelligence, critical thinking, and American values...

Truth is the first casualty of war, and we are in a war, a cultural war...This has been made obvious by the "fake news" MSM...The only truth recognized by the Left is their version of the truth...to disagree is to be called ignorant, racist, or worse... you cannot have dissent against those who incarnate dissent... that would threaten their power base which is the false assertion that they are the defenders of the weak and powerless...The NYTimes defended its liberal bias by saying that their bias was justified by the knowledge that Trump was a danger...He surely is, to their delusional belief that they (and all the MSM) control and have the power to determine political outcomes in America...The hate him because he is able to bypass them by going directly to the people via Twitter making them irrelevant...

The Left's streak of tribalism runs through their politics of personal destruction to the declining of free speech to those that oppose their perverted narrative...Collective ideology is the concentration of power with the few, the privileged, the progressive tribe...

The story goes about the optimist that committed suicide by jumping off the Empire State Building...On his way down, while passing the 50th floor, he was heard to say "Well, so far so good"...Such is the cultural dilemma facing our nation at present...

Never had baked eggs, sounds delicious...providing I can wash them down with a Bloody Mary...

Trump Derangement Syndrome . . . that about sums it up.

The left can say anything, including half-truths and outright lies, and get away with it. For example, the time that Trump called the gang members of MS-13 animals, and was reported in the liberal press that he had called all immigrants animals). In fact, the NY Times STILL has an article posted to that effect:

      https://www.nytimes.com/2018/05/16/us/politics/tru...

They cleaned up the title slightly. Originally a version of the article appeared in print on May 16, 2018, on Page A13 of the New York edition with the headline: Trump Rants on Unauthorized Migrants: ‘These Aren’t People, These Are Animals’.

Not enough. It's still misleading as all get out. But it's still posted.

And on, and on, and on. As you say, the examples are too numerous to discuss.

I have seen only a very few glimmers of giving Trump credit for anything. I can only hope that when the economy is growing at 5%, and illegal immigration is a non-issue, perhaps we can return to civilized discourse. But I'm not holding my breath.

I spoke with a woman the other night who told me that she can't stand President Trump because he doesn't act presidential. I said, but what about all he has accomplished. She told me that none of it mattered because of his demeanor. All I could do was throw my hands up in frustration. Insanity rules the liberal terrain, and I don't expect many of them to gain any wisdom anytime soon.

Lady and Pop....We can only hope, but liberals have their tentacles everywhere in society. None of their hypocritical outrage makes any sense whatsoever given all the good Trump has done and continues to do---and in such a short amount of time no less. People make a choice to follow "group think;" and ignore all of the positive things Trump has done to make our economy stronger, not to mention having basically wiped ISIS off the map. And he's done so much more than that, as you well know.

Yet liberal women now wear vagina hats, use the F-word and the C-word and refer to themselves as " nasty girls." Furthermore, they're proud of it for some reason which is unfathomable to me. The alt Left calls for violence and impeachment---the list goes on and on.

As far as I am concerned, Liberals have become as bad as they were back when they implemented Jim Crow laws and fought for the Confederacy. Except now, they're choosing a different kind of slavery, and we'd better fall in step or else. What an ignorant, cowardly and dangerous way to behave. Guess they haven't changed much since the days of the Civil War.

FYI: If this comment is too provocative, I will understand fully if you do not post it. It is not my intent to have your article shut down---because that's what Liberals do.) Anyway, thanks for hearing me out. I am deeply concerned about our future and I know that bad history can easily repeat itself. So-called righteous causes are sometimes anything but. Take care Pop. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

"They will target anyone who disagrees with them, and for the most part they do it with impunity," So true. The Left embraces group-think. Group think erodes individuality, and there is nothing good about that. History has shown how collective thinking is so dangerous, it causes humans to justify punishment of those who refuse to join "the group." They go so far as to applaud cruelty and punishment for the slightest infraction or no infraction at all.

It's rather ironic that the Left refers to Trump as a dictator. We all know about the violence of Antifa, to name just one leftist organization.

That being said, Roseanne was wrong to make such an ugly comment. On the other hand, the only thing Ivanka did was share a sweet picture of her adorable baby and that's supposed to be evil? I'm so over their antics, it's not even funny.
