AAA’s philosophy is to facilitate peoples self organisation for their own well being & Development. AAA has been working on range of developmental issues including health drinking water, sanitation, education, credit and livelihood activities, water shade development and income generation.

1. HEALTH
a) Research and Documentation of traditional herbal medicine.

Timeline/History of supplier
Organisation started in 1984. Initially we were involved in the movement of people’s rights and women right. This work was concentrated in Armori block of Gadchiroli and Brahmapuri block of Chandrapur district.
Then in 1987 we started on livelihood issues through Self Help Group concept.
That time institution work was spread up in whole Gadchiroli district. Now institution is working in 200 villages in 6 blocks of Gadchiroli District & 2 block of Chandrapur district with the help of 350 women self-help group and 20 men self help group.

Short term goal for the project are, empower the SHG for income generation activity, formation of cluster federation of SHG, develop training centre.
Long term goal of the project are, management of SHG activities by saving, earnings, income generation activities by cluster federation, help in formation of marketing federation for the produce of self-help group.
3 Commercial Viability
Product ranges : - Honey and other herbal produce available in the forest.
4 Communities in Need
Producer community is mainly tribal having plenty of natural resources i.e. forest 76% .They are very poor without education and no facility for health. In this area un-employment is high and number of malnutrition death are very high for new born kids. In this project the community can get at least 100 days of additional employment so that family income can increase. This money goes in hand of women so she can use it for betterment of family. Faith of people will increase. With this money their will be employment generation and development. This will preserve bio-diversity of forest and better management and better return to people.

Economic benefits provided to producers
Now tribal get only 100 days of employment on agriculture farm, with this trade they can get additional 100 days of employment and better prices to their produce. Better and higher prices than market.
