President Obama’s hopeful vision for our 99%.

Updated on February 8, 2015

President Obama’s hopeful vision for our 99%.

President Obama is a legacy to Martin Luther King dream and our President’s hopeful vision for our 99% is a legacy to the great civil rights leader.

President Obama’s State of Union vision would help the 99%.

The Party of No is attempting to destroy our 99%. To achieve this vile goal they have to brainwash the red staters. The Party of No has to convince red staters, who are the beneficiaries of government programs, that the government is the problem. As with the proles in “1984” our red staters are weary and they have to believe that their political leaders have the interests of their constituents in mind—even though the Party of No’s only goal is achieving power.

When we were growing up we all learned to believe actions before words. When I was in grade school I remember quite a few times my older brother’s friends promising me that this time they would not steal my lunch money. After having my nose rubbed it in by having no lunch I eventually learned my lesson. Why can’t red staters learn that the Party of No doesn’t have their interests in mind? Red staters probably possess the same trust in human nature that I did as a grade school kid stupid enough to believe that my superiors would help me.

President Obama wants to burnish his legacy as that would help the 99% as well as help the Democratic party. The Party of No wants to achieve power and they see obstructing President Obama’s agenda as being the manner in which they can accomplish their vile goal. That shafting the 99% results from this doesn’t bother the Party of No.

The remainder of our President’s term is going to be stonewalled by the Party of No who learned this vile tactic during the Presidency of Bill Clinton. Remember how Bush 43 campaigned on how he’d be a uniter, not a divider. That was all because the GOP obstructed everything during the Presidency of Bill Clinton. That is their plan to devastate the 99% for the remainder of the Presidency of Barack Obama.

President Obama is a legacy to Martin Luther King dream

The article “President Obama Reflects on Dr. King's Legacy and Honors It with Service” contains this quote from our President “We have more to do to bring Dr. King's dream within reach of all our daughters and sons. We must stand together for good jobs, fair wages, safe neighborhoods, and quality education. With one voice, we must ensure the scales of justice work equally for all -- considering not only how justice is applied, but also how it is perceived and experienced. As Dr. King told us, "injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere," and this remains our great unfinished business.”

President Obama’s State of Union vision would help the 99%.

The article “Obama’s Brilliant State of the Union Wasted On Stupid Anti-Government Americans”articulates how our President’s plans aim to help the 99%, but the red staters aren’t able to understand this.

The article states “For the past seven years President Barack Obama has delivered prescient State of the Union speeches that should appeal to the majority of Americans regardless of their party affiliation except for one small detail; he represents the federal government. Oh it is true that the majority of Americans depend on and benefit from the federal government whether or not they are intelligent enough to know or are willing to admit it, but a fair majority of the population is still mesmerized by the Reagan-Republican mantra that government is the one true source of all their misery. The Koch brothers and Republicans are aware that the way to win elections is demonizing government as much as they are aware that Americans are inherently stupid; not ignorant, but just dirt stupid and it transcends nearly all demographics. This is a simple fact that President Obama must have finally realized after five years of futility and it is reasonable to assume it is why he began exercising his executive authority on issues important to the majority of Americans they are loathe to admit.”

I don’t know if red staters are stupid—maybe they are just overly trusting. It has been going on for generations though, so if they aren’t stupid, they might be psychologically ill. In the analogy I made above I only had my school lunch money stolen part of the first grade before I learned my lesson. These current red staters are ancestors of the Birchers who were getting shafted by the GOP fifty years ago.

It would be one thing if the Democrats and President Obama had not helped the 99%, but why is the Party of No obstructing us unless they don't want the 99% to thrive as the article states “It is true they have yearned to decimate the government for thirty years and have taken every possible step to make it fail, but now that the government with an African American President produced the world’s leading economy, over 11 million jobs, and GDP growth that is the envy of the world, Americans can expect a concerted effort to derail those successes to dismantle the government.”

As with the proles in “1984” our red staters are weary and they have to believe that their political leaders have the interests of their constituents in mind—ev

The article “Ted Cruz blames gridlock on Dems while GOP orgs promote obstruction”shows that the Party of No knows no limitations in lying to the red staters. This article was published six months ago and showed how the Party of No wanted disinformation to impact the election.

The article states “In the latest installment of Republican Hypocrisy Watch: on the Sunday talk shows, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex), blamed Democrats for congressional gridlock…

It’s all part of the larger GOP strategy to muddy the waters, distribute disinformation, undermine, sabotage and basically throw sand in the gears of the legislative process. Then, when government doesn’t work, they complain loudly that government doesn’t work – even though they’re the ones that deliberately stopped it from working.”

The remainder of our President’s term is going to be stonewalled by the Party of No who learned this vile tactic during the Presidency of Bill Clinton.

The article “From Clinton to Obama: Why GOP Impeachment Fever Is Now So Predictable” shows, as the article states “The same forces trying to ruin Obama schemed to remove Bill Clinton from office."

These extremists didn’t think President Clinton had done anything that deserved impeachment and they don’t think President Obama has done anything other than being a liberal as the article states “As with Obama, they wanted to undo his presidency, not because he had committed a supposed constitutional offense but simply because his "liberal, globalist, socialist" politics offended their sense of morality. Of course, they feel the same way about Obama today. Indeed, from the perspective of the insurrectionary tea party Republicans and other self-styled "patriots," elections hardly matter at all, unless their candidate wins. To them, a Democratic president lacks legitimacy by definition.”

Remember Dr. King’s dream, "injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere," and this remains our great unfinished business.”

The Party of No will decimate our futures if they have their way. They would do anything for their top 1% benefactors.

Remember Dr. King’s dream, "injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere," and this remains our great unfinished business.”

With the Party of No obstruction we will have difficulties eliminating injustice, but our country has made slow -- but sure progress, and we will achieve this dream.
