Tea Party hero, Joe Walsh made it official, he ran against, (a real Hero) Tammy Duckworth in Illinois 8th District and lost

The hubris of the Tea Party and it’s hero Joe Walsh led to his defeat when he ran against a real hero Tammy Duckworth in Illinois's 8th District. December 12, 2012, and it cost him the election.

Former Republican Speaker John Boehner had promised Joe Walsh "$3.5 million in general election fundraising help", according to the Daily Herald.

Joe Walsh running and screaming in illinois.

Per: My dear friend, "Typical Republican Joe Walsh, saying Tammy Duckworth, who lost both of her limbs serving our country, is not a true hero, because she dares to talk about her service to her country, Joe Walsh said.

Watch the video and hear what Joe Walsh had to say about a real American hero.

Maybe what really galls the a** holes since he has NEVER served in the military in any capacity himself is that Tammy is a woman, and even without legs, she is kicking his ace in spades!"

Next, Mighty Joe, the Tea Party hero will be screaming, that Tammy is not a real woman without sexy legs to strut her stuff. Shame on Joe Walsh for not being a REAL man!

Screaming Joe, should have stuck with the issues.

Rep. Joe Walsh criticizes Tammy Duckworth's military service

Dead beat dad dares to criticizes a war hero

Remember Max Cleland?

Remember Max Cleland? A decorated war hero, He, like Tammy lost limbs in the military service of this country and his opponent, Saxby Chambliss (shameless) accused Max of jumping on a hand grenade, because he knew he was going to run for the Senate and the sympathy would help him win.

Saxby Chambliss ran negative ads against Max Cleland, very much like Joe Walsh was doing to Tammy Duckworth.

What kind person would vote for a person who denigrates the character of our Nationally Decorated war heroes?

I would not be surprised if the screaming demon does not accuse Tammy of purposely crashing her helicopter to gain sympathy for her injuries in order to help her win a race she did not know she would be in.

Mighty Joe did not know, Tammy's never backed down from a fight in her life and she certainly would not back down from this one.

And when Joe Walsh began his attack he did not know how many people would have Tammy's back.

Tammy Duckworth responds to Congressman Joe Walsh

What is Hypocrisy?

Hypocrisy: Anti-Obama, Tax-Bashing Tea-Party Champion — Congressman

Chris Matthews takes down Rep. Joe Walsh - July 19, 2012

When asked about the balanced budget bill, Walsh said this bill calls for a 111 billion in cuts, when asked where the cuts will be made Joe Walsh replies in the bill.

Are they going to rip it up???

Martin Bashir calls out Rep. Joe Walsh on his disrespect to President Obama!

We have a president who is banrupting the country, Joe Walsh said.

Joe Walsh said we have a president right now who is bankrupting this country and he is destroying job creation.

I think it is purely political for him to call a joint session of Congress to announce some 'JOBS' plan. Joe went on to say.

I am going to go back home and speak to the people who really know how to create jobs.

When Mighty Joe was asked about his jobs plan, Walsh like Romney, did not have one!

What is Next for Joe Walsh?

What is Joe Walsh's plan?

Maybe to run again for another seat?

But who is the hero can he defeat?

Maybe he can just sit and stir his tea.

Former Illinois Republican Rep. Joe Walsh said he was kicked off his own radio show Thursday over a discussion of "racial slurs" in June of 2014.

He said in 2015 he is planning to make another bid for the House of Representatives.

Au fait, thank you for the return visit, comments and for sharing.

It was/is exciting to see someone like Walsh get his come-uppance, just-deserts, this one did my heart good.

I hope you have weathered the storm, we had last night, I actually hope that it missed you.

Well, Ms. Duckworth must be starting her 4th year in office this year. She was re-elected to her seat in 2014. I believe she sits on the Armed Services Committee. Also the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. Seem like good positions for her.

Is Joe Walsh sweeping up somewhere? That might be a good job for him. Doesn't require a lot of thinking, not his best skill . . .

Sharing this again. Hope all is well there. Still waiting for the rain to start. Once it does it's to keep up for 7 days. Flooding is expected. Hope you've got all your outdoor chores done for a while. Blessings dear friend . . .

Mary, I hope you are right. Tonight was suppose to be the night the developer presents to the Planning and Zoning commission, but the meeting was canceled because of the ice storm.

I don't know if this is a good or bad thing.

Anyway thank you for the good luck wishes.

Mary, please forgive me for taking so long to get back to you. I am involved with trying to help, My neighborhood, community and myself, fend off someone who wants to run roughshod over us. I have to get ready to go right this moment to another meeting to hear and fine tune our speeches for tomorrow night's Planning and Zoning committee. But even is they say no or vote the developer down and can still go to Town Council and get what he wants. I can't believe that our little group has grown from 10 on September 11th to over 600.

Thank you so much Mary for the comment, up votes. I really appreciate you.

      Blessings and Hugs dear friend.

Its scary that we actually have people like Joe Walsh in this country, never mind in politics. I know this is long over but the bad taste lingers.

Well written dear friend. We need to be reminded of who really defends this country!

      Voted up, useful, and interesting.

Haven't heard anything about Tammy Duckworth lately. Saw this hub and wondered how things are going for her. Haven't heard anything about Joe Walsh either, but that's not really a loss.

Sharing this. Sending blessings and hugs to you dear friend. Hope all is well there and that you're able to stay in during the cold hours.

Au fait, this is exciting news about Tammy Duckworth. I know how these people critisize anyone who is not on their knees to them or with their lips stuck to their back-side. I don't know how they got elected/re-elected

Thank you my dear friend for your comments and sharing.

God bless and keep you, hope you are well also.

I've recently read that Ms. Duckworth is expecting a baby girl in December. Interesting how Republicans say they respect and honor our military people until one of them gets in the way of something they want. What horrible things they have said about Tammy, John McCain, John Kerry, and others who served and sacrificed so much for this country!

Sharing this with followers. Hope you and John are well . . .

I hope Dave Brat gets a whooping, he is already talking about ending Medicare as we know it. I guess people don't really care as long as the one they don't like gets whooped bad.

      Have a blessed day.

Wonder how this hero is doing now that she's been in office for a little while? Hope all is well with her. I hope someone like her will now whoop Dave Brat in the November election. Seems like EC got the boot not so differently from Fred Phelps -- wasn't mean enough to suit 'em.

Voted up, AUI, pinned to AH, and shared.

I am so honored to have you reading my hub Queen Hypatia, I really appreciate your visit and comments. You are a true friend.

Tammy Duckworth, like Max Cleland are awesome people. They are not only courageous, but kind and generous. I really enjoy learning about true heros. I wish we could hear from some of the people whose lives these two saved.

I think you have my number, give me a call sometime.

I hope you do not mind that I am reading some of your writings tonight. Often there is so little time and I love to read. Your writings were recommended to me by a joint friend of ours.

I must say this woman, Tammy Duckworth, is truly a courageous woman. She is a great example to people who have very difficult things to overcome. I wish her great success in her efforts and I am so glad you wrote about her.

Saw this lady on a video the other day and she was telling some guy off who was collecting benefits for getting injured from playing football in college. But he was saying it happened in the service when it didn't to collect benefits, which he was doing. She didn't beat around the bush. Gave it to him with both barrels. Voted awesome, interesting, useful. Joe Walsh is a disgusting pantywaist in comparison. Shared too.

Walsh is unfit to be in our government in any capacity.

Just finished reading an article in the Chicago Sun Times that Walsh is still ridiculing Tammy Duckworth and calling himself the Democratic Party's pubic enemy no.1. I think he's everyone's public enemy #1 including his own worst enemy.

      Right on Aunt Jimi,

I think it is the "me, me" attitude that some people have, they allow their vote to be bought/sold and still think, everyone will vote for the right person and no one will know that they sold their vote, or they think "my vote does not matter," so I will just stay home and not vote.

These same people, when it is too late say, "how did he get elected?"

I think my vote does not count either, because of the Electoral College and because of the (as you would say) redest of red states that I am in, But I will cast my vote anyway and pray, that the right person(s) win.

Thank you Aunt Jimi, always appreciate you, and your comments.

Just don't know what voters are thinking of when they see this guy say such ugly mean things about a woman who has sacrificed so much for our country, and then honor him for saying those things by voting him into office. What has happened to the integrity of the voters in this country much less the integrity of the politicians? Why should more be expected of the representatives than is expected of the represented?

If Walsh wanted to take issue about Tammy Duckworth's political views he could do that without calling her a hero one second and then turning around and denigrating her military service the next second and saying she's not a REAL hero because she talks about her service to our country. I'd ask if this guy is for real, but sadly, the answer is yes.

I remember how the Republicans denigrated John McCain when he ran against baby Bush. It was sickening then too. John McCain is one of our country's greatest heros regardless of his politics. I think Tammy Duckworth is right up there too.

Walsh has no class and he doesn't seem very smart either. If people keep voting Tea Baggers into office it won't be the banks to blame for this mess we're in any more, it will be the voters who will be to blame for putting the Baggers in office to finish this country off.

Democrats need to wake up. It's 90% or more Democrats who don't show up at the polls to vote and who are so apathetic. Republicans show up every time and bring friends and neighbors with them. Republicans never waver. They never vote across Party lines.

Republicans understand that its party more than person that makes the difference, because once in office, Republican Party members will do what there told if they want to stay in office. I've seen how both parties will turn on their own if they don't tow the line. Look what they did to John McCain just because he wouldn't back off and leave the field clear for baby Bush. Shameful. Democrats are the same way. Tow the line or color yourself gone in the next election.

Not voting for someone and not agreeing with their politics is a totally different thing from demeaning them for making such huge sacrifices for their country as both John McCain and Tammy Duckworth have both done.

Yes, and talk about a free ride, Walsh contributed thousands of dollars to political causes while not paying his child support and letting his own children suffer! No wonder he doesn't care about anybody else's children if he cares nothing about his own!

Walsh owes around 150,000 in child support! Doesn't take care of his own kids and slams national heros? This is who the Republicans are so proud of? What ever happened to personal responsibility?

Yes, I'm slamming Walsh now, but I couldn't do that if he didn't make it so easy for me could I? After what Republicans did to John McCain, one of their own, there's no telling how low they'll go to destroy this woman who has already given so much to our country.

I would vote for Woodstock's droppings before I would put such a no-character guy like Walsh back in office!
