The Race Card And Wasserman-Schultz

Updated on June 7, 2011

The Card Of Last Resort Hits The Table

Anymore I'm not sure if the far left is playing the race card as the first, or last, card in the game. Yesterday, in my column "Your Week In Review," I issued an official "Moron Certificate" to Wasserman-Schultz for her complete hypocrisy, on not one occasion but two, about making stupid accusations and she hasn't given me even a day to be let down by her stupidity. So along comes STRIKE 3. I wonder if this woman knows anything about baseball.

Oh! You haven't heard? Well, along comes the DNC Chairwoman making one of the most outrageous claims I think could come out of an imbecile and it went like this. According to Debbie the big meanie "Republicans" want the nation to return to Jim Crow laws. Yes folks and she did it on television. This centers around having photo identification in order to be able to register to vote. That seems rather logical and straight forward to me, but I'm not sure I'm catching the "Jim Crow" angle in the scenario.

Here's the way Loud Mouth Debbie put it, "Now you have the Republicans who want to literally drag us all the way back to Jim Crow laws and literally and very transparently block access to the polls to voters who are more likely to vote Democratic candidates than Republican candidates." I wonder if this genius every considered the actual fact that requiring photo identification might be a means of insuring someone who isn't eligible to vote at all doesn't get to vote for any candidate? Must have slipped her mind, if she really has one to slip away from.

The head of the RNC states that she needs to apologize to Republicans across the nation. I believe she needs to apologize to ALL Americans across the nation. This is furtherance of the class warfare the DNC is intent of waging during this next election. He went on to say, "This is beyond injecting racial overtones for political purposes. This is claiming that Republicans would like to return to de jure racial segregation in this country. This is pathetic and outrageous." Yes Mr. Preibus, it is pathetic and outrageous but then again so is Wasserman-Schultz who heads the Democratic party machine.

Some people aren't familiar with "Jim Crow" laws so let me lay it out for you. Those laws required that blacks had to sit in the back of the bus. They also barred them from eating in public restaurants unless the establishment had a separate room with a separate entrance. They also had to have separate drinking fountains and rest room facilities. None of that was right then and none of it would be right now but I'm having difficulty connecting the dots here about that issue and requiring photo identification to vote.

Last time I went into a federal building I had to have what? Photo identification. So the federal government, using her rationale, needs to be slapped down for wanting to return to Jim Crow laws. The last time I went to a bank to cash a check I had to have photo ID. Stand in line behind the feds you meanie, racist bankers. We could make a list, so maybe in the comments section remind us of the times you have had to produce a photo ID in order to enjoy life. How preposterous are these political hacks going to get?

How many people in this nation don't have a photo ID? Not many because it is usually required to undertake life's day-to-day activities. If you don't have one all you have to do is usually trot yourself down to the local DMV, prove who you are and they'll issue you one. My question is, "If you don't have a photo ID, why not?" Does this woman have fits of rage when Obama wants to establish a federal system of photo identification?

Of course, many of us knew this sort of thing was coming from the now desperate far left. They sure can't defend Obama's record on the economy. They can't wave the pom-poms about his job creation record. He promised that if he spent almost 1 trillion dollars of our tax money that unemployment wouldn't rise above 8%. Instead it sits at 9.1% and during his two years at the helm there has been a net loss of another 2.5 million jobs. The recent rise was just a "bump in the road" according to Obama. Broken promises is what I smell.

Instead of cutting spending, passing a budget which they haven't done in two years, creating new jobs and simply just doing their job in accordance with the Constitution, the Democrats start stupid stunts like producing television commercials showing Grandma being pushed off a cliff and now this? Wasserman-Schultz has gone over the cliff herself with such race bating comments.

The law is intended to prevent people in this great nation who are NOT eligible to vote from exercising that most precious of rights and a basic civic responsibility. You know, like dead people and illegal aliens and the such. Of course, in light of Wasserman-Schultz last week stating that the Republicans were big, bad meanies for wanting to continue to make illegal immigration against the law, and railing at them about that, what can you say about a woman like this? Keep talking?

I'd rather listen to Whining Weiner deny the truth than to listen to such garbage coming out of the Chairwoman of the DNC's mouth. How about you?

I smell desparation in the halls of Congress and The Whine House. They blew it! In retrospect, their race card just may be the card of last resort to be played in their sick game of partisan politics. I sure hope people aren't buying into Wasserman-Schultz's outright lies.

As Always,

The Frog Prince

PS - In my new "Your Week In Review" featured article, you can read about her two other outrageous charges but they don't hold a candle to this one!
