Harlotte Comes to Breakfast

Good Morning, Breafastpoppers. Today is Wednesday, November 18, 2015. Our creative friend. Spider Harlotte, is at the table. Harlotte has been extremely busy weaving the latest tragic news into her web. All bets are off now. We are at war. Will somebody please tell President Obama about Islamist terrorists? Clearly, he is out of the loop. Please join us for breakfast this morning. Harlotte has prepared a luscious French omelette and she has paired it with lattes. We hope to see you soon.

ISIS Strikes and Obama Yawns

Thank you all for joining me this morning. France is dealing with the horrific terrorist attacks that reigned terror and death upon Paris. Their response has been forceful and direct, and the effort is going to have to continue for a very long time. ISIS is ready to take over. They are bold and when they say they will attack, they do. The sad and sickening truth is that France knew about these imminent attacks, but did not rise to the threat in a meaningful way. Now that death has come to Paris they are united in an effort to destroy ISIS. The entire world should have been trying to rid the earth of these monsters a long time ago. In light of that failure, all we can do now is move forward and fight like hell to destroy them. Containing them will not be enough, because like maggots that crawl through the dirt, they will rise again. They must be destroyed forever and that kind of effort is going to take strength, guts and common sense. Forget about political correctness. That will get us killed. Forget about allowing Syrian refugees into our country. That will get us killed. Forget about the rules of engagement. That will surely get us killed. Forget about President Obama, because he, most definitely, will get us killed.

A Country Without Leadership

We are a nation adrift in a very dangerous world. I listened to President Obama's pathetic response to the attacks on Paris and I felt sick to my stomach. His demeanor told as horrible a story as his awful message. He was defensive and angry. I did not detect an ounce of empathy for the people of France. He minimized the effectiveness of the Islamist terrorists by calling them a small group of people. He used the example of the brothers who bombed the Boston marathon. He referred to them as just two brothers and nothing more. Our president has an identity problem. He may not pray five times a day like a devout Muslim, but his heart and his soul are with them. We, the American people, are not on his radar. He pulled the troops out of Iraq and created the perfect breeding ground for these animals. His response to their actions has been listless, tepid and ineffective. His so-called strategy isn't a strategy at all, but he has vowed to continue whatever it is he is doing. Does anybody really know what he is doing? I know with absolute certainty, that we are in trouble. We don't have a leader with the will to fight.

In His Own Words

President Obama has made it quite clear that his interests are not with the American people. He seemed quite annoyed when attempting to answer questions put to him by the press. He showed disdain for their questions and when he did answer he was floundering, dismissive and rude. He stated quite clearly that he was not interested in "pursuing some notion of American leadership or American winning." His words must have sent shivers of joy through the Islamic State. America is weak and vulnerable and there is no question that ISIS is prepared to keep their promise. They are coming here. In fact, thanks to our porous borders, and a willingness to receive Syrian refugees, they are already here in this country. Just this morning, I heard that New York City is preparing for 24 simultaneous attacks. The task force in New York is probably the best in the world, but 24 attacks are beyond the imagination. Mayor DiBlasio made things more difficult by reducing the police force and by banning surveillance in Mosques. The people of New York are more vulnerable now because of his misguided thinking. America is in trouble because of Obama's equally misguided thinking. We can't afford to put people like this in charge of our nation, cities or states. We need leadership responsive to the wishes of the people who put them in office. It is up to us to make our concerns known. We don't have a president and thus far we haven't had any representation in Congress. The Governors are going to have to keep us safe. Thirty-three Governors have refused to accept refugees into their states. They have to make that decision, because the federal government really can't vet the people coming in. We are playing with fire and it is time to extinguish the flames.

Harlote's Song

Oh, what a tangled web they weave

When first they practice to deceive!
