A monachy is run by a family dynasty a democracy is (supposedly) run by officials elected by the people.
No leader of a republic could ever command 87% approval like Elizabeth II does.
No leader of a republic would be prepared, as she has, to devote her entire life to serving her country.
There is no contest between monarchy and republic.
Monarchy will always be best.
That is why all those unfortunate countries, that have lost theirs, are always interested in ours.
