What one thing would you change in your town to make it better?
I would repair the roads in my town. Considering we live in the north, it is very difficult to keep up with the roads. There are too many potholes that you have to weave around. The side roads are not too bad, but the main roads are horrible.
Canada must have one of the worst railway and transit systems from all the "first world" countries. There was a better subway system in Bucharest. Romania during the communist times than there is one in Toronto now and traffic is brutal. We only have around three million people (in Toronto)... if we had the population of New York or L.A. there would be a twenty-four hour grid-lock. Nobody seems to care though.
I find it interesting that both of you cited transportation issues. Wonder what others are thinking? Thanks for the answers. I'm hoping we'll get more, its a subject that could prosper from debate.
