What is One thing that could be done that would change the world for the better?
Teach men and women to understand each other. And it will follow that people will better understand each other... Then communities... Then cities... Then states... Then nations.
Start teaching love and peace at home would be a start. To love our neighbour no matter what colour they are, to be more considerate of others like at work for example or at school.
I think one thing that would make the world a better place would be if people were to treat others the way they want to be treated. It is not that hard of a rule but it feels like most people do not follow it anymore. It especially seems that way in NYC.
There are definitely more things that would make the world a better place but you said one thing.
EMPOWERMENT. Tell people that they CAN be their BEST possible selves & to use their utmost human potential. Teach them that they do matter and have a say in their respective societies. Teach them that they are not just flotsams in the scene of things but are significant players in their particular society and the world at large. Teach them to go beyond being ordinary, average, & mediocrity and be extraordinary, even magnificent.

Would the world be a better place without politics or vice versa? In my opinion, Politics is such a dirty game...it is plagued with corruption, impunity, abuse of office, injustice, nepotism, tribalism, racism...and so on. So would the world be a better place without it?

If you could change one thing about this world for the better of our species, what would it be?Provide a little more than something along the lines of "free ice cream for everyone" because while this may be royally awesome, it doesn't actually benefit mankind. And please back up your...
