Do state's have the power to remove U.S. Senators for not representing their state's legislature?

If they do, the US senators from my state should have been removed after the 2008 presidential campaign. The voters of this state clearly supported Clinton, but our senators ignored their constituents and endorsed Obumma. Yet another reason I am happy to NOT be a dem in a dem controlled state!
