How Was Saddam Hussein Captured? Did You At Any One Time Expect Such A Fighter To Surrender Easily?
He was captured because somebody decided the reward was to great to pass up. Saddam was dragged out of a tiny hole we probably would have missed without help. As for the easy surrender? No surprise, most tyrannical dictators are quite meek when their military support is not there.
he was never a great fighter. he was an assassin for the Bathe party. who butchered his way to power. once he had only himself to rely on he hid like the child killing coward he really was.
He was dug up from a hole in the ground somewhere in the vicinity of his hometown in Takreet. There might have been a whistleblower. No, he wasn't trying to surrender but biding his time so that he can get away.
