Should acts of hate be criminalized? What acts should be considered hate crimes?
I strongly oppose any civic codes or federal laws with the loosely termed “Hate Crime” attached to it. If we have a need for criminal law, then lets legislate appropriate laws to handle specific acts of criminal behavior. We have plenty of analogous laws without adding vague statutes, or ambiguous meaning. Clarity is king.
