why is a question i just asked closed to new answers?
i asked a question and it didn't appear on the board so i re-asked it and it said it was now closed to new answers. should i bet getting a complex here?
Where is my answer? I typed one out, where did it go?
More often than not, I run the spell check over my answers, on several occasions I've corrected the answer and entered it, when I've looked later on, the errors are back/still there. Also, I've sometimes clicked on the spell check and the answer has disappeared, puff, just gone. Now you're entering a question that is being closed, and WTS entering an answer that disappeared. Add that to the vote button greying but the vote not registering, there does seem to be something odd going on.
Could it be that the question might have already been asked? Just guessing? WB
I just asked a question, and the moment I asked it, it says, "closed to new answers". I'd like to know what's going on as well. Anyone?

Why do some people ask a question then delete the answers they don't like?A number of times I've gone back to look at an answer I gave and the questioner has deleted it. Do they wish to embrace censorship or silence the opposition?

Why do so many people look to people for answers that people don't have?"What does God look like?" type of questions really concern me. Which do you find more concerning...the one who asks the question or the one who answers like they know?
