Why have the Conservatives and Tea Partyers ignored the jobs problem in the US so far this...
Congressional session, wasn't that why they replaced the Democrats?
The "opposition party" has never been interested in serving the American people whether they be Democrats, Republicans, or Tea Partyers.
"Party loyalty is more important than national interest" Politics is best thought of as a sport.
The sole purpose of an "opposition party" is to topple the party in power so they can push forward their agenda. (Which is supporting the people with money who backed them during the election Not The Voters)
It's easier to score points knocking the party in power than it is to risk offering solutions which might fail. You stay in the bleachers to boo the other team and pray for their failure.
We the American people have to find ways to fend for ourselves.
No one spends (millions of dollars) from their personal fortune to get elected to a position that pays $150k for "altruistic" reasons! Power and Prestige is the name of the game.
I wrote the following hub about political gridlock.

Liberals believe jobs come from government spending. We conservatives believe jobs come from government getting SMALL and having less government regulation on business. Right now, the liberal leftists have control of the white house AND congress. Therefore not much can be done to get back to small government to reflect the way our founders designed our republic. All we can do is slow down the crazy democratic machine untill next election. Republicans were guilty of this crazy spending too!! Teapartiers also oppose republicans who are big spenders! Have patience for next election. Then you will see improvements!
Other than to cease obstructing, there is nothing Congress can do to create jobs.
Job creation is done SOLELY by the private sector. If companies are not making and keeping profits, they cannot create jobs.

I find this topic most disturbing as it is a reflection of the goals and aspirations of the American Right wing movement. There is no such thing as it being "fringe" as Trump, Carlson and many Republican Senators avoided direct answers or said that the Orbanz authoritarian regime in...

Some may say that fascism is on the left of center but when you take all of the 14 points they seem to fit the republican leaders to a T. I believe that they started to try to get women in to thwart the obvious fact that they are extreme fascistsFascist issues and how it relates to...

I feel this would be very hard to do on a Political forum. Most threads represented here are political in nature, and the line is well drawn via the thread title at times. It is very hard to get across that people, in general, should not be categorized, set into a group void of the fact that people...

Excellent op-ed page that discusses conservatism taking two distinct tracts. Have a read and share your opinion, please. http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/20 … /?src=recg

The Democratic Party have institutionalized socioeconomic policies which are the detriment to America such as welfare & a governmental health program known as Obamacare. Because of the Democratic Party, we have generational welfare which the onus of tax is on the middle...

I find it interesting when Democrats say the only reason people will vote for Romney is because he is a Republican. They chastise the people on the right who are loyal to their party. They cannot see that people will not vote for Obama because he is doing a lousy job. OF course it is Ok for them to...
