Might the unrest in the mid-east overturn some extremist regimes (as in Iran) threatening the USA?
Lately it seems that, following the revolt in Egypt, a tide of civil unrest is sweeping through the broader middle east. I would like to hope that some good may result from this. For example, perhaps the unrest will throw a wrench in Iran's nuclear weapons program, or even topple the dangerous regime that govern's Iran. What do you think? Are you hopeful that any good may come from the present situation in the middle east? If so, what?
It will. It must. I do not want to sound gullible but I hope the Israeli and Arab relations may improve as well. Did those old and corrupt farts even try to solve the problem? Nope. The conflict actually detracted the media from them. Mubarak stole 70 billion dollars for the Egyptians who, as a result, have nothing but freedom. Freedom with a huge national debt the size of Egypt's is no freedom. Let's hope Egypt get the money back from the ailing monster.
