Why are politicians selfish after being victorious and sworn in?
It's all about who these politicians perceive as their constituents. Most tend to care more about the companies whose money got them there, rather than the people that directly got them elected. This tends to sway them more towards their donors than their actual voters.
Consider that Barack O'bama got 70% of his election money from wealthy campaign donors. You get a sense of why he hasn't done enough for the American people, and his approval rating is at around 27%.
Politicians take huge campaign donations from corrupt corporations in order to get elected in the first place. Everything flows in the logical direction of corruption after that, of course.
once in office they don't need the people until next election for the money to run come from the corporation and the super rich and rich people and THEY WILL ANSWER TO THEM. AND DO WHAT TOLD BY THEM not the people for they just spin the people, ( lie) and they help the rich mine all the money they can out of the people and keep the people in debt.
They were selfish before being elected and they just said whatever they could within party guidelines to win office.
just think about all the bankroll they get for going to work 3 days a week. So why wouldn't they just try to please the masses? The selfishness just goes with their greed, tis a sad thing
