What did you do in reaction to 9/11?
I knew I was going into the military but at that point I couldn't enlist fast enough. Anyone else do something in reaction to 9/11 that changed you life. Please share all your experiences.
Well, 9 months after 9/11 my youngest daughter was born I think we all went home and hugged our families a little tighter that day.
As a teacher, I had to deal with students who did not understand what was happening and deal with their fears and concerns that they and their families would be hurt next. I knew many people who joined the military in response...and many more who would have if they would have been accepted. My brother was already in the Army and wanted to gather with his other military buddies and go take care of the issue by themselves. This is a great question...thanks for asking it....
