    What are your thoughts about the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act)?

    Should it have not been signed? Is it taking away our freedom as Americans?

    I think it's frightening.  The modifications made to the bill prior to Obama signing it only removed the requirement to put Americans in military prisons, not the option to do so.

    There seems to have been a concerted effort to limit the freedoms of the average American since 9/11.  Some of it was knee-jerk reaction to things that happened, but I think much of it (like the NDAA) was also an insidious power-grab by our government.

    I think it is taking away our rights. We are on a slippery slope. Americans are allowing our rights to be stripped away little by little in the name of "National Security". The Patriot Act is an earlier example. Now we have the NDAA.  Pretty soon we won't have any way to fight back.

    This is one step closer to a One World Government. This bill gives the government authorization to establish a domestic Gestapo type military organization that can operate within the United States. This is an extreme danger to Americans.
