How does futures market affect gas prices?
Why does the oils future market impact the price of refined petroleum products already in distribution?
Commodities are no different then.....running a retail business. And one of the biggest reasons for failure in retail type businesses is the lack of understanding of this one simple principle. You don't charge your customer or base your mark up on what you pay for a product.....you charge them based on what it cost to replace your inventory.

How does octane 89 affect an engine when you normally use octane 87?I normally use regular (87) octane but occasionally it is the same price for the 89. Should I take advantage or should I keep using the regular?
