    To a small extent. Bad manners killed part of it. The radical faction of the women's liberation movement killed another part.

    I still open doors for women, and do not use bad language in front of them. The handshake is still awkward, because you cannot always understand if a woman wants to shake hands--my problem, not theirs.

    Possibly with men over 60 years of age!  The rest...their mothers forgot to teach them how to treat a woman.

    Chivalry is definetly dead to anyone under 65 years of age.

    Yes. For example, I still see men opening the door of the car or restaurant for a women. However, I see it more in the older generation than in the current generation. The current generation has a lot to learn about respecting women and treating them as people!
