Depends on the part of Africa you are talking about. Most recently, Uganda makes the Kony issue come to mind, Egypt makes me think of Pharaohs and Pyramids. Tanzania reminds me of the Leakys and their work on human evolutionary history, Kenya makes me think of Chips and Jane Goodall. As a whole Africa brings to mind images of Giraffes because they are awesome.
