What would you do if your child called in a bomb threat to a school?

This evening someone called one of our local schools and reported a bomb was in the building.  The call was made after hours and the police have the entire evening and overnight to clear the building before classes resume in the morning.  There is speculation that a teenager called in the bomb threat to get an extra day off from school.  The local police are tracing the call to find out who phoned it in.  If the person making the threat was your child how would you react?

My children were made aware from a very early age how I felt about crime of any kind.  I also told them that if they were ever caught doing anything illegal, they were to phone me so I wouldn't worry about them; and, then, be prepared to spend the next (few) night(s) in jail because I wasn't coming to bail them out.  I meant it and they knew it.

If this were my child, I would let him/her know that I still loved them no matter what and I would attend all court cases, etc. as moral support; but, I was going to allow the court system to take care of the issue.

I would also let them know that I was there for them after everything was over and that I was willing to do whatever was necessary to help them start again.
