Is there a better label for your child's' parents than 'baby-daddy' or even 'baby-mama'?I just despise the term 'my baby daddy' OR 'my baby mama', luckily for me I can just call him my husband but not everyone is in the position. Is there another term that would be more
I personally like the original of father, and mother. "Hi this is John, little John's father." I too dislike the current slang terms that seem to demean the position of mother and father.
That's serf vernacular and I wouldn't use it either if I were you. One can always simply refer to a parent in a less-cynical way by using correct English: "I have to go see _______'s father/mother".
You could try (childs name)'s dad, or mom. I would say johns dad or johns mom.
