Why shouldn't George W. Bush’s younger brother Jeb run for presidency 2016?
I have always heard that Jeb was the smart one in the family. Though of course when you listen to his brother it really doesn't take much to sound more intelligent.
To actually answer your question though...
Political ideology aside there is no legitimate reason that he shouldn't run if he wants to.
Having said that... The Bush family has already had two presidents. There is no reason that we should create the image of a "dynasty" by having a third. Secondly, I think the republican party would benefit by moving in a different direction and showing the country that they have more to offer than the same old song and dance. Then again, I think the DNC would benefit from the same thing.
I believe he will run and I don't dread and fear him being president like I did his brother. I've heard him speak on news shows and he's actually very intelligent. I'm not Republican but if I hear what I think makes sense for America,I would vote for him.
I would rather not vote for any incumbents who have held any office in any party but that may never happen since it seems to be the same old faces running lately.
If he's leaning right-wing plutocratic corporatism in 2016 I wouldn't vote for him, I don't believe that's where our best interest lie.

Both Clinton and Bush have been patiently waiting their turns to be president. The powers that be--the millionaires and billionaires--support them. So it's pretty much a done deal. So how will you vote? And why would you vote for either Jeb or Hillary for president?

Remember, an accomplishment is something that actually results in something good happening for the US. Something that is being used and taken advantage by the people. It is not just passing bills, or starting plans that won't take effect for several years. Something that is beneficial and solves a...
