The Copenhagen meeting where the whole world is there....
New taxes, higher product cost and maybe a little reduction in pollution and the end of the political discussion whether it makes a difference or not.
I think it will eventually get dusted off and thrown into politcal campaigns as the same non action rallying cries that abortion, social security reform and campaign financing recieve.
A lot of talk and no resolution. What can I say other than it reflects our polarized electorate.
So, not the one on this thread then, because I definitely have an answer to that...
It will help to continue the hatred of capitalism and secure the majority of the blame for anything wrong in the world on the US.
Well if the shoe fits wear it I always say. But if it doesn't then pass it on to someone else. Wait a minute the US does that too.
Are you saying that capitalism should be hated and the majority of blame for anything wrong in the world should fall on the US?
Well at least the world should be suspicious of our intents.
Review your notes on American foreign relations history to find your answer. You must use that education you so proudly boast about. Good day to you sir.
When have I boasted about my personal education?
You should try to remember what you say.

I could go back further but I have spent too much time with you and your endless dribble.
It will achieve higher taxes and more out of pocket money for Obama"s plane fuel.
You know that the leader of any country does not have the time to go around checking smoggy factories to see if they have an impact on the climate. And his hired employees do not give a care,as long as they aren't bothered by the tax payer.
The old saying is ( if the wheel doesn't squeek,Don't oil it)
What I don't understand is why the green gurus don't practice what they preach. What kind of example are they setting for the rest of us?
As I thought the answer is meaningless to you.
That quote contains no boasting and does not reference my education.
TK I will quote you something from the Bible that may have some meaning. Mt 7:6 "Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you."
I could give you many instances of your self indulgence as to your educational boasting but I would be wasting my time as you lack the character to accept any self criticism. So I will leave you with this scripture.
Ok then do it, but try to do so without the insults.
As I stated before: "I would be wasting my time as you lack the character to accept any self criticism."
Did you not get the gist of the scripture?
Either back up your claim or apologize for the accusation. And leave out the insults.
Let me make it simple for you as I have stated before, Don't have to as you can search the text yourself and...uh...No!
I don't understand why you feel the need to cast false accusations instead of discussing the topic.
If you consider what you can't remember an accusation then I can understand your frustration. But it is not my responsibility to go back over months of your posts to prove the fact that you said something you will or cannot remember. We have had many a chuckle in here with your boasting of much study and how much more knowledgeable you are and that you know thousands of people to back up your claims. If you were upset when you made these statements and forgot making them then you should use the temporary insanity plea. That might get you some sympathy but trying to bully me into finding them for you is a waste of time. You have played this way too far.
Then you shouldn't be making false accusations about things you cannot back up.
Do you comprehend what is being said? Do you have ADD or something? The accusations are on you and you have made all the assertions. Asking me to back up what you said is ludicrous.
It must be as I stated. You cannot remember the things you state and I have no obligation to help you regain your memory. If you wish to think of this as false accusation to rectify it in your mind then so be it. I said it before and I will say it again it really is a TK world for you isn't it?
There is nothing boastful about a simple statement of fact. I would find it hard to believe that you have not met thousands of people in your lifetime, but I don't know so I won't make any declarations about that.
Climate change will be the excuse bad governments (cf. Gordon Brown) use to control and browbeat the people that mistakenly elected them.
nothing.... all the stakeholders want something out of it, no way will Americans sign the KYOTO PROTOCOL< the American way of life is not in compromise
who are the stakeholders, government each protecting their businessess, big corporations, research, cause oriented groups environamentalists etc
Frankly, I think there will be more than enough BS flung there to warm the planet yet another degree!
This is a scheme to move nations towards a single world government.
Still no apology from the guy going on about "character." In any case, all this has nothing to do with the topic of the thread.
