    Crime stats show violent crime is declining in the U.S. and Canada, why?

    why do you think this is happening. education, better technology at catching people, decline in religion, easier lives?

    In the U.S. FBI stats have been telling us that for several years but the media makes it look the opposite. We now see the same violent stories over and over due to over saturation of "news". Homeland Insecurity has provided SWAT units to every city and is over used. I think the police commit more violent acts than ever and because there's no accountability. The punishment is PAID administrative leave. How many jobs have that policy? Besides all that more folks are incarcerated for petty crimes creating a prison industrial complex. Sorry, I could go on and on about what's wrong with the what so called "crime" epidemic. One only needs to look at the economy to see why some crime has increased. OK, I'm done :-)
