    How is it that the greatest nation in the world can be so stupid?

    We've elected the worst president in history twice now.  He's quite possibly the least patriotic president we've ever had.

    The president was chosen, but not by the people. It's time people wake up and realize that we live in a oligarchy and we've let it become so.

      Great Britain's rights and liberties go back much further - to the Magna Carta  (my country).
      At least Obama knows that Africa is a continent and not a country, unlike one of his predecessors.He's not unpatriotic, just has different views from you!

      Diana, sadly no nation on earth has very many true liberties remaining; most areas of life are regulated and the people of those countries have allowed it by inaction. In Britain's case, many of your "rights" are actually just privileges allowed you.
