What is the 'hot topic' in your neighborhood?
Could that 'hot topic' be a bell weather indicator be for something larger. Maybe it is something larger to begin with. For example is that 'hot topic' which sale is best at the different grocery stores? Does that point out purchasing trends? Maybe it is a local issue in the community like the new drought regulations in California or fixing the streets. Both point toward infrastructure challenges.
In my community it is the rise of Donald Trump, but then I live in the most conservative county in America (Cobb/Georgia).
Today & tomorrow's weather is positive with 30 to 32 degree. Humidity will raise upto 40 degree. So far so good. I didn't take a look at my shopping offers this week as we did enough shopping last week. We have some weekend event happening in the Victoria park. Looks like its for kids. Probably it is the hot topic here.
Small town stuff, Rabies outbreak recently with several locals taking shots, murder of a child from a newly transplanted resident, and small town gossip about anyone and everyone. UGGGGG
Me, I am not aware of that. I don't actually care what is hot around the neighborhood. But when I do hear gossips, it's mostly about politics and local disputes.

Do you and your neighbors help each other? My neighbor, with whom we don't speak much, is still kind enough to cut the grass in our front lawn. We do the same for him on occasion. How do you help your neighbors?

Why do so many African-Americans live in dense, urban areas? If conditions are so bad in the inner-city, what is it that is keeping them there?
