How should we react when someone says a very teasing matter in sincere tone?
Sometimes a situation comes in life that a frenemy says something to you that is very embarrassing in meaning but appears to be harmless as if spoken in a sincere tone and when stated in presence of adequately crowded atmosphere, it becomes very difficult to react in a quarrelsome manner. Moreover, such situation also makes the target person uncertain to glim out the exact intention behind it. This sort of situation is very freaky and hard to handle.
It all depends on so many factors, that it is not easy to say; however, I can give some clues as to the line to take. These are some options and you will need to use according to the situation:
Aw 'John', you're just kidding me, aren't you? A friend would never say that to another good friend. . .Ha!Ha!! Ho!!Hoo. or
Hey John, are you trying to embarrass me? Don't you know that I am made of steel - laugh and beat the chest. Or These are all our friends, they would never believe that of me. Been friends too long to fall for your funny jokes. or
Aw John. . .mock tears. . . .where does it hurt mate? Must be painful if you are attacking me. I know you love as I love you.
Now that you have read these, you might come up with other ways of your own that would probably fit much better.
