    Is Man superior to Nature?

What's the outcome of interfering with the weather?
What is the affect of cloning half animal half human entities?

As to the basic question, the answer lies in the future. So far, though, Nature seems to have taken quite a beating from the doings of Man.

IMHO nature is intelligent and we have no place in making such "god like" interferences.

I do not know about your statements, I'm not qualified enough. About the question itself, Yoga Philosophy speaks of a kind of spiritual evolution.

First the Soul involutes (it comes down), then it begins its ascent or evolution via the mineral life; the plant life; animal and finally human life, each higher than the other. Finally, when the harmony is perfected between the members of the human psyche: body, vital, mind, Heart and Soul, it returns to the Divine.

So Yes, in that sense, man is superior to nature. Ultimately, Yoga speaks of Oneness, not Unity as some think. Oneness is much deeper and espresses the interconnectedness or universality of all things as One, and yes, nature is a part of this process.

Yes here in the context you have described man is superior to nature.

I just have a real fear and concern at us humans manipulating our DNA and the DNA of crops ....the DNA of nature. Nature was here before us humans, right?
